I just wanted to know who the hell asked for this sequence.
What the hell kinda trailer is that?
It's even more meaningless than the usual CGI trailer shite.
Rage 2? Seriously? Nobody even played the first one, although I guess they want some of that sweet Borderlands money.
It's telling, that they would choose a deliberately androgynous figure for the cover image.
Not boderlands. Look and feel like Battle Royale.
It sold enough. But yea, borderlands, Fallout 4, Mad Max and a few associated games are a 'profitable market'.
Problem: who the fuck is the developer? I don't mind mindlessly shooting post-apoc punks and junkies with a scattergun but I need to know who's making it.
Avalanche Studios said to be helping. Zenimax wants more blood?
Just saw this... what the fuq? Haven’t seen anything this cringey in ages.
Rage was a pretty solid bare-bones game though.
Maybe the people behind it have ambitions for the IP so as to "who asked for this", well, maybe it was the ones who came up with it. But it is clearly looking different than the first one. Cartoonish and bright in a way. So I have no idea what their goal with it is. Then again, the original game isn't always the most successful and they want to redefine the series and find its place. Like Postal. The first game is quite edgy and dark but Postal 2 was whimsical and comedy natured.
I just find the trailer to be absolute trash as it just confuses the hell out of me and I don't get what the selling point of it is.
Trailer was trash.
Today we can see some gameplay. Just don't hold your breath.
Been fair, Avalanche studios is cool.
Considering the publisher, was.
If I didn't know it was for a game, I probably would've thought this was a commercial for an energy drink or something.
Well, that's... Different. And random.
The first RAGE at least had good art direction.
Right. So Serious Sam except not wacky + vehicles and open world. Got it.
I think I'll just stick to Serious Sam.
Is it just me, or does it look like they are trying to be all of the recently popular games at once?
You'd have to ellaborate on that.
It definitely tries to be Borderlands with probably a whole bunch of Prey and Dishonored thrown into the mix.
Who asked for this? Seriously? Who asked for a sequel to Rage?
I certainly didn't.
