I didn't read the whole thread (in case this is in here) but as a DC resident, basing the game in DC. Of course there is only a power station on the map where I live but it was cool enough run through where my parents "live."

I enjoyed the game. With that said, all the comments you are reading are pretty much accurate. I guess the best way to put it is something like it gave me a post-apocalyptic fix but not a Fallout fix. It's not something I would upgrade a machine over but when you do, get it from the bargain bin.

I know MMPOGs are generally looked down on around here but you might want to check out EVE. It can be a beast of a time sink but it's a damn good game.

I have in fact played Freelancer. Dug the game but I finished the plot in about 14 hours and then had no more ships left to try to get. Tried it multiplayer but got bored fast. That cracked me up.
