Encased - isometric RPG from St. Petersburg Kickstarted!

@TorontRayne Is it weird that I prefer a system which you only have direct control over your main character? I know that AI can be very stupid but I prefer that the balancing of the combat system be done in the tactics spin-off.

What was the Funniest Argument You've had with a Bethesda Apologist?

I honestly don't care whether aliens were canon or not but they should never be tangentially related to anything important in the series. Just make them some jackasses that got lost in space.

    Fallout Officially is Bethesda/Dead

This is why I didn't even bother talking about Fallout 76. The idea that Bethesda can make a competent Fallout MMO is laughable. FO:NV was the perfect way to end the original canon. Even if Bethesda theoretically died overnight, the damage is done.

Do You Ever Play As the Opposite Gender?

I think most guys do. It is a little different for inherently social games like MMOs but not by much. I mean people play multiple characters at once but that doesn't mean they have multiple personality disorder. I do a little role playing sometimes. I pretend that Doctor Borous suspicion of my...

    Codexian CRPG Book Released

I wish my tablet still worked. I feel like a tablet is the best way to get a lot of reading done.

    Attitudes Towards Communism

@Jogre I was hoping that you would clarify specifically how is Cultural Marxism a conspiracy theory. Do people mean its origin, its existence, its "purpose", or something more specific or more general? You make the case that Cultural Marxism is just some weird umbrella word for things that some...

    Attitudes Towards Communism

Can you elaborate? Most people just shout right wing conspiracy and leave it at that. Are most people really picky with brands? Black markets always exist under Communism. There is also the "local knowledge problem" which a big hurdle for planned economies. I found this application of free...

    Attitudes Towards Communism

I would like to bring up Lysenkoism. It was the Communists' version of Scientific Racism in terms of being ideologically driven pseudo-science.

    Attitudes Towards Communism

It didn't say it the most defining feature. Also, people generally care more about their families and friend over strangers. I think that the most defining part of human nature is self awareness. I know what are Bonobos. I also read about monkeys preforming prostitution. All that I'm saying is...

    Attitudes Towards Communism

It is an argument against the idea of primitive Communism, the idea that Communism existed in Hunter Gatherer societies, existed. It was not an argument that people should emulate animals. Fish eat each other. ...no. A lot of animals developed traits or techniques to preemptively show their...

    Attitudes Towards Communism

Well, yes. At that point, I usually use my "extreme" analogies to make my case but I didn't really want to invoke an emotional response. Something like getting someone fired just on the suspicion of being a child molester is wrong but it doesn't mean that there is nothing wrong with being a...

    Attitudes Towards Communism

That isn't case for Communism. People have good reason to dislike Communists especially because they want to instigate in-fighting either by class, race, religion, etc.

Bethesda: Save the Single Player games

No, they don't NEED some form of multiplayer. Bethesda making single player focused games isn't going to stop the industry from trying to shoehorn multiplayer. The reason why companies do that is to add micro-transactions and loot boxes. Also, plenty of other companies are releasing single...

Bethesda: Save the Single Player games

Ok, this is stupid. Let's set the record straight. The major problem with this statement isn't just because it is subjective but it is because it relies on a subjective axiom. For Bethesda to save single player games, single player games would need to be a state of needing to be saved. The...

Bethesda Founder: "Game prices might increase."

The microtransactions used to be justified by the games being free to play but EA placed them in its $60.00 games too. I used to think that Season passes were just things added as pre-order incentives. I didn't think people actually paid for it. However, as long as there is a demand there is a...
