you can also download the "trial version" of the creature creator... whatever that will consist of. i have pretty much all the mods for the sims games since i pirated them all at once. and unless i see something worthwhile about the spore online community, i'll probably pirate this, too...

going SIMS?

it just makes every guard scream "kill him!" and rush after after you with swords and arrows. makes you wonder why they even bothered, your walking speed is faster than the horse and you're less suspicious when you're running around the countryside on foot, somehow.

Maxis has launched the Sporepedia website, the community site for uploading and sharing creatures from the upcoming game Spore. The separate creature creator comes out sometime within the next week or so, and the full game will be released in September...

it looks like you're right, the game was apparently expected to have co-op mode (a friend of mine was considering buying it on that reason alone), but after reading the reviews it's pretty clear that there is no co-op mode. my mistake.

yeah, it's pretty similar to the xbox version, just with mouse functionality.

oh jesus, the inventory system was horrible and very cumbersome on the xbox. i don't know if it's any different in the PC version.

the interface is still awkward? i've only seen one picture of it, but that's pretty much the only thing that they worked on changing in the PC port.

just finished fallout 2 again as an unarmed and big guns specialist, and just downloaded assassin's creed on the pc. debating even going back to AC, though, considering the atrocious horse riding that you are forced to do at a walking pace.
