well the cds are fairly old i bought the game shortly after it came out just havent played it for a while. i had checked them before for scratches and there was nothing that looked bad enough to cause problems. i ran all three through a scratch repair kit anyway to be safe and reinstalled now...

just checked to make sure and yes im running with the 1.27 patch and the npcs are still invisable :cry:

i have tried with and without a patch with no luck, but im not sure if it was 1.27 or an earlier patch to be on the safe side i will make sure its 1.27 and try again...i must say i have gotten extreamly good at playing through the first level :wink:
