I have been on these forums for a very long time and I remember the doomsayers who said fallout will suck from now on . Back then I thought "nah how bad can it get?" then came fo3 which I dislike for not being isometric and turn based alone (let alone all the other shortcomings) then fallout 4...

I can't see that another fallout will interest me as long as Bethesda has the rights. Now that Microsoft owns Obsidian and inXile I'd like to see them buying the franchise and returning it to the original creators.

I'm going to play it although I will probably miss the skills.

I used to love betas. get the game early, play for free, being able to contribute to the game. very much want to play this game but I think I'll prefer the release version this time.

aside from the super mutant, I liked it :) great work.

the little movies were nice. I could have lived without the cathedral explosion one or the one after the vats. what I really enjoyed a lot was the introduction and the ending that was customized to what you did in the game and a follow up on what happened with the people you saved (or not)...

yeah well I dunno. it might be that these games are the big sellers or appeal to a large audience. its just that they aren't for me. that's the big problem here. I don't care whether 1 million or 1 billion buy wasteland2 or not. the only thing I care about is if I like the game. the niche...

as a fan of fallout1+2 who did not play wasteland1. I am also very happy. The way the party works seems like taking fallout and enhancing it from my pov. I always hated the mostly computer steered companions to be in the way (sometimes you even got stuck "fuck, Ian get out of the door!!")...

Very nice article. I would also buy and play a bugged F:NV over a bug free F03 any time. I think project eternity is going to be a great game and I am already looking forward to it.

these are exactly the reasons why I decided to not fund more than one project simultaneously. I funded wasteland2 because I have this feeling that Brian Fargo is exploding with idea's and it's something he really wants to do (well obviously I like the genre otherwise I would not care at all)...

yeah sure the moral thing is not that big here (agreed) but what it does show is the impact your decision may have. It seems like the "guns blazing" way will have an impact that is similar to killing children in Fallout. So while morality may not be shown here to extent we would like, it does...
