Seasoned Vault Dweller
One of my favorite games recently has been Kingdom Come:Deliverance, anybody else here like it?
I am willing to give it a try :), though I don't know how the integrity of the game is at the moment--bugs and that sort of stuff.
I am a bit skeptical towards slow paced games, but in this case I am willing to consider.
Fucking a yeah I do
Ye Squadcar it was rather buggy at launch , mostly visual stuff and not gamebreaking but now most of those are fixed and it works fairly smoothly. You have to build up skill , learn to read and all that yeah, and you are fairly weak at the beginning, but it works naturally and it doesn't take too long before you can hold your own in a fight, the combat is pretty fun too.
Is RDR 2 worth getting?
The game literally just came out, should wait until some of the release hype goes down.
no. they fucked the title up and now i want nothing to do with it.
Some food for thought, maybe Fallout 76 will be a better game than fo4 or fo3 since it is not trying to be an rpg and unapologetically so.
But not all Bethesda fans accepted Fallout 4. And it seems even more Bethesda fans are not accepting Fallout 76, judging by comments on 76 videos compared to comments on Fallout 4 videos.
that makes it even worse. not to mention they have super mutants like 40 years before they even existed. if thats any kind of indicator they're going from implausible retcons and the occasiional contradiction to outright: "fuck it"
Enough did. And told people to accept it and move on. Now they can't bite that bullet for 76.
some people say fallout 4 was a bad rpg implying that the exciting 'gunners' faction isn't an interactive and innovative faction
"Excuse me, Commander, I have a question."
-"Alright, so we're mercenaries."
-"So people hire us for jobs, that's how we make money."
-"And they have to come to us directly in person because there are no phone lines or whatever."
-"So why are we shooting everyone on sight? They could be clients?"
Here's a prediction. Next Fallout will be based in Texas. There will be a faction of raiders called the "Dallas Cowboys", football themed raiders who make corny references to football in combat "Dead Ball!" , and the leader will be the "Quarterback", the lore will be that they were inspired by football magazines.
of course zero interaction bar shooting and occasional terminal with backstory to give illusion of depth
Dare I say I prefer Wasteland 2 to Fallout 2?
Why not both?
Fallout 2 has as much stupid shit as fallout 4. So I support your opinion. Not that it's my own
You hacen' played WL2 in a while
Are you trying to tell me choosing to blow up or not blow up a town of innocent people is NOT a difficult and nuanced question?
I only have one friend who plays games, so yes. I'm starting to figure him out. He is all about "the experience", so - fast, flashy, colors, sounds etc. Story, dialog, quests are "boring chores"
There's nothing neccessarily wrong with that, it's just when they start hijacking our beloved games.
Oh, I completely agree with that
My laptop mouse and keyboard freezes for 5 seconds every minute or so, anyone know a fix. Windows 10.
Fallout 4 is quite bug free if you play without mods, Haven't had any gamebreaking bugs since November when I got wedged between a sign.
In my experience, it is prone to wonking itself up if you attempt to do certain quests in your own order. The worst culprit is whenever events trigger *nearby* and you do not *immediately* drop everything in your hands to rush over to get involved.
The Automatron DLC becomes unplayable, for example, if you do not react immediately, whenever you venture in the robot-attack vicinity (you'll hear distant gunfire, meaning the script has triggered. This happens regardless of you listening to the radio, prior.)
You got to admit Fallout: Survival mode seems quite interesting.
Just completed Wasteland 2 on Supreme Jerk , took a lot of time.
If Fallout BOS had been received better no doubt Interplay would of tried whoring it out like bethesda
Decided to get Divinity: Original sin on my ps4, Wonder how top down rpg's work.
I would make a Fallout 4 lore thread but what is there to discuss? The "Prydwen's" origins lmao
Gonna play Fallout 2 and maybe Tactics, Never liked Tactics tbh
I think Doom is the one game that Bethesda won't screw up. Looks like it's staying at its roots.
What do the radiation signs mean?
mr matty plays sugarbombed is a real hugbox
NationStates is good for roleplaying. Shame FO4 isn't a roleplaying game.
Watching MrMattyPlay's is like my guilty pleasure.
Wasteland 2 has great combat , Very fun.
