New Vegas for me. While the story of FO1 and 2 were great, I've never been enamored with the turn-based combat. FO3 was fast and furious at times but ultimately shallow. New Vegas has the best of both worlds.

There's no need to hurry to the end after Vault 87 - the main quest will wait until you're ready. Do all the side quests you want, either before or after. No real benefits except getting more XP before the end.

I'll be honest - I've never been much of a computer gamer, especially for the last decade or so. I still love to break out Quake III for a few hours, because my old computer can't handle many newer games. I played Fallout 1 and 2 many years ago, but lost the discs in a move and never got...

Hi there! Been lurking around for a while, thought I'd finally join in the fun. Been a Fallout fan for ages, although it took FO3 to get me interested in the franchise again. Been playing New Vegas lately, and am about to go back and replay the first two. It's good to be here! :)
