Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Nevada (extended)

Anyway this happens in vanilla power armor animation as well which is afaik not modified by hero appearance mod. And isn't it so that flag which is telling whether weapon should use small guns rifle animation or big guns animation is in weapon PRO file?

Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Nevada (extended)

Also what came to me as quite strange was that player with equipped laser rifle was using "small guns rifle" animation instead of "big guns" animation. Not sure if that was intention or not... but plasma rifle is using big guns animations. Played with hero appearance mod as punk girl.

Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Nevada (extended)

I've just finished my playthrough and must say that with latest English patches/translation, it's flawless experience in comparison with google translated version from 2012 or so. So thanks a lot to everyone involved! I've encountered only single bug and that was wrong dialog file in general...

Awful low FPS and mouse performance in Wine

It would point to some process priority change between wineservers or something. Did you try to renice wineserver or fallout.exe ? From winehq: I tried these tricks with renicing long time ago but for me there was no difference back then but who knows if it helps you And the last thing...

Awful low FPS and mouse performance in Wine

Yep, these issues are caused by High res patch, the fps are highly depended on your resolution. E.g. I can reasonably play it for example with resolution 800x600 ... Try to fidle with high res patch graphics modes and other settings. Also you can try enabling GPU blitting in sfall configuration...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

It's funny because these command I wrote you did exactly the same you're saying. Making files inside items/critters read only but do not touching folders iteself. Folders were probably set read only by RP installer. But I'm wondering why it's the problem at Mac OS when at linux fallout does not...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

Ok, good to hear, please, could you write some info how you resolved it to technical wiki so the others will not be forced to go through the same painful way in the future?

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

Well, I'm out of ideas, try to look trough the internet, this "unable to save game" error is pretty common. Maybe others know more. Everytime I had this issue I solved it by setting file permission at savegame to read&write, running fallout executable from it's directory or data files were...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

Ok, remove whole SAVEGAME folder. Create it again but in lowercase so savegame and slot01 in it. And run that command again from fallout dir. If it not works, try to run fallout manually from it's directory via terminal. wine fallout2.exe

The file structure should be like this: FALLOUT2/DATA/SAVEGAME/SLOT01 Run that command from fallout2 folder, it should not do any output as before and hopefully you will be able to save at least to first slot.

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

Go to fallout root directory -> data directory. Create new folder called SAVEGAME with another subfolder SLOT01 in it. Then open terminal, navigate to fallout folder and run this command. chmod -R 755 [dD][aA][tT][aA]/[sS][aA][vV][eE][gG][aA][mM][eE]/

Nope, you have to do it in your mac os command prompt. http://www.apple.com/osx/apps/all.html#terminal

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

And how looks that sister of yours? :D heh, just kidding. As I said, you have to set readonly flag, before running RP fist time. I told you before that fallout overwrite these files if they're not set to read only and that is why you have blank map, because you're missing items/critters added...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

These problems of yours are pointing to bad installation, I assume that you didn't set readonly flag for data/proto/items and data/proto/critters folders and files within. And check if there is patch000.dat in fallout root directory and erase it if it exists. You should erase fallout and...
