It's a nice, clean design - although I can't say I'm a fan of the picture-less logo. The top of the page seems a bit emptier now without Marcus staring back at me.
Remember, though, that this game is set more than 200 years after the nuclear destruction. That's plenty of time to rebuild. Just look at the condition of NCR or Vault City in Fallout 2.
In the video, Sawyer dropped that the BoS and the Followers of the Apocalypse are coming back. Ausir says the BoS was already confirmed, but I don't remember reading a preview where the BoS appearance wasn't just assumed rather than confirmed.
Also, there's apparently a magnetic accelerator...
I spotted Pete talking about this a few days ago but forgot to post about it. Hines, Bergman, Josh Sawyer, and Feargus Urquhart are there at least. Could be a New Vegas event, but it could also just be a get together for the two companies.
The gamebryo engine is really starting to show it's age. The first gamebryo game came out in, what, 2001? The age difference is practically like using the Fallout 1 engine on a game in 2005.
Hopefully this is the last game to use it.
Probably the same reason that we didn't hear anything about New Vegas until after the press stuff already took place - Bethesda's PR schedule.
We'll undoubtedly learn soon enough what actually is going on. Lots of press have done stuff with Fargo. One journalist apparently wore a Bard's...
I think the big point that completely destroys any argument for a mobile Fallout game is the fact that Fargo is on a European press tour for the mystery game. There's no way that anyone would ever do an expensive press tour just for an iphone app. It's also probably to assume he won't be doing...
Oh...right. Yeah, that part is just speculation. But we know that Fargo is working on Wasteland 2, and since Heist got cancelled it's logical to assume they don't have the funds to be developing anything else but iphone apps.
