I saved then cheated Jinxed in for fun but after 3 enclave encounters I noticed it didn't make much of a difference, sure someone would lose their ammo or drop their weapon every once in a while but it wasn't that big of a deal.
Just spent 10 minutes playing the "push" game to exit the room after riding an elevator at the S.A.D. Good times.
Miria is absolutely horrendous, that 35 hp never increases and she loves to suicide by force field.
Getting into Navarro as a recruit is impossible with this woman, I might just...
Well, so far my playthrough has gone pretty swell. The goal was to recruit every NPC possible and never participate in combat myself with the exception of using drugs or stimpacks on NPCs. I had initially thought that keeping the dogs/marcus/goris alive would be a pain but it turned out to not...
Sorry for the necro, but I've been looking for a mod like this for my RP 2.2 installation. Are there any plans to update this mod once Killap releases his final update? That would be great, thanks in advance.
Good response. I'm aware of the 5 NPC limit, it's what I'm currently stuck with, I want to expand it. I know full well how pathetic Miria is and how easily the dogs get killed, but hopefully managing that with drugs like Psycho will allow them to stay alive long enough for the other NPCs mop up...
I plan to do a playthrough where I don't participate in combat at all, with my source of damage being entirely from NPCs. The only things I will be allowed to do during combat is use drugs on allies as well as push them.
Might be a fun challenge, but this leads to a couple of questions/issues...
What gets to me is that he fixed 95% of the bugs on the wiki in a couple of weeks, with the remaining 5% being things so minor that they didn't NEED to be in the patch, and then just left us all hanging for nearly a month just as we expected a release. Seriously his last post was about how he...
Damn, I wish he would have released what was already fixed before he took off. Wanted to get a playthrough in before the Wasteland 2 beta got released. Looks like I'll have to split my time between the two.
I'd prefer a release with the current fixes, the remaining bugs are minor nitpicking, and if you had read them you will realize that most of them will likely NEVER get fixed.
I don't have the game installed (waiting for the RP patch) but you can try this:
Start task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+del
Leave it open and start Fallout
When you want to minimize, press alt+tab to switch to the task manager
If Fallout minimizes normally, then you're done
If it...
I think we've established that meeting ETA's isn't Killap's strong suit.
That or the changelog is being turned into a novel.
Perhaps the bugs in the high resolution patch are the cause of the delay.
I would assume that as long as people keep reporting *new* bugs, then release would be delayed in an effort to get them fixed.
Likewise if Killap's source is correct, then I would love to see a newer version of the high res patch included with the next release.
I wouldn't like to wait...
