In Windows 7 the patch makes the game think its running in compatability mode. However, none of the compatability options are checked on the properties tab. :D
I have the GOG version. Ran fine with and without the resolution patch.
Its otherwise a clean install.
Any ideas?
great read OP
I loved Fallout 1&2. I just played them through again recently. They both hold up so well.
Oblivion was the first Beth game I played since Wayne Gretzky hockey. I really liked Oblivion but it was not on my radar until launch day and my buddy dragged me out to buy it and build...
my first post on the official beth f3 forum the day it went live: please do not screw up the music...
there is no question the game will suck as a f3 - it might be a decent PA actionRPG, but it isn't f3.

Combat. Turned based is what should be here. In lieu of that, honestly I would prefer an insanely hard version of Gear of War where you have to be good and really well armed to solve problems with...
I could have lived with a KoTOR like real time system. You had to think fast, but cue commands seemed to work very well.
Oh well. I'll be picking up F3 on launch day regardless and I suppose I will know then.
I just watched the Carnivale box set recently for the umpteenth time. I can't wait to see this next project.
Glad it is a 4 part with a start and more importantly an end. So many great shows never get a chance to wind down properly.
Maybe it is the Cormac McCarthy factor, but the PA genre...
