Someone may want to take what we've learned here and make it into a sticky or tutorial thread. Vista is a nasty little monster to deal with, and having this info might help someone else.

Yeah I found them after showing hidden files, using a guide I found here... http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial130.html They are there.... now lets see how the transfer goes *transfers files and places them in the right folder* Loads game...

UGGH... I looked and there is NO file there... I went to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\BlackIsle\Fallout2 There is no folder called appdata for me to go into... I'm going to continue to look.
