Need to confess that I didn't actually know they said that to you until I saw this thread. Normally whenever I saw some Legionaries running towards me after I had pissed off the Legion I immediately started shooting at them or running away. I feel like a spazz now.
[spoiler:8f75194a32]Thats not too bad since there is a bug in play, you can get the good ending where they live with fan made patches[/spoiler:8f75194a32]
I don't mean to bash anyone but most people who buy video games these days don't particularly care about game mechanics on the level we're talking about. If they were to nix VATS and replace it with something else I seriously doubt it would hurt their sales.
I really never used VATS but to be honest if they cut it all together it make the agility stat useless as it stands. In the new games people only tend to pump agility to meet the requirements for certain perks or role playing purposes. Besides governing AP what does it do? Modify Sneak, Guns...
It certainly does. I still think its acceptable as an entry to the Fallout series despite its flaws, New Vegas that is. Fallout 2 had a similar issue although you could at least convince a squad of Enclave soldiers to side with you for that fight. I haven't had much of a problem of keeping...
I'm going to assume you mean in game because in real life I have no illusions, I know I'll almost certainly die without dignity blubbering like a baby, especially if its a violent death. Thats true for just about everyone though, anyone who says otherwise is almost certainly wrong or trying to...
That is basically what I've been up to. I am slightly annoyed that the ending is somewhat railroaded with combat. I mean you can talk down the final boss (which is great, I love it when games do that) but getting to him is basically a nonstop fight. Not that its hard, if you have good companions...
I'd probably die pissing and shitting all over myself in state of mortal terror. To be completely frank the vast majority of people here would die the same way, anyone who says otherwise isn't being realistic at all.
Yeah I'm not really that great in combat with the self imposed restriction. Also Cass can use power armor? I never really bothered to give it to her to be honest, or the anti-material rifle.
Thanks for the advice guys, That Gun is a particularly great weapon, especially since I can steal it in Novac at the start of the game. I never really bothered looking at it before but its a blast, especially when you build to maximize critical hits. Its aesthetics add a certain elegance and...
Jeez thats a hard call to make, so lets get a little in depth! Yes Man was hands down the single funniest character in the game. Veronica was so adorable she is only thing that gave me pause when considering what to do to the Brotherhood. Mr House just secretes so much charisma it makes it very...
I don't particularly plan on hunting them down, I was just curious. I'll have a problem with high DT/DR targets regardless, its the limitation of the roleplay I'm going for it. I'd rather have that problem then be bothered by the fact my primarily diplomatic character is decked out in military...
Oh damn no wonder it laid eggs. I never really bothered with silenced .22lr before, this may sound crazy to ask but how do they far against deathclaws and such.
Hello! Thanks for popping in. Been a fan of the series for a while and decided to get around to doing a Very Hard/Hardcore run of New Vegas. I've got all the DLC and I'm running J.E. Sawyer's mod. Anyway I want to do a diplomat but to me it doesn't seem like a diplomat would use big honking...
