Leonard Boyarsky has just left Blizzard and is now working with Tim Cain!

This just popped up on my Facebook, I'm friends with Boyarsky there (because he's that awesome) and 20 minutes ago he updated his Facebook to say he left Blizzard (he was working as a world designer). There is a picture of him on Timothy Cain's profile, saying something about them being...

    Fallout Tactics Redux Version 1.3

I'll definitely be playing this on my channel as soon as I finish Fallout 2. This looks awesome :D I hope it's alright with you? All due credit will be given, of course. Thank you for the hard work man, this is brilliant!!!

    Perception Fallout 4 SPECIAL video

That's not true. Vault 8 opened two years after the war if I remember correctly, and Vault 13 was supposed to open 20 years after the war (at least that's what they were told). Most Vaults were programmed to open after a set amount of time, usually bellow the 100 year mark.

    Science fiction vs Post-Apocalyptic Fiction?

Not really. You can have post-apocalyptic fiction without science fiction. Age of Decadence is post-apocalyptic, but it's set in an age similar to the fall of the roman empire in our History. Science-fiction is any fiction that involves science as the justification of its fictitious aspects. In...

Will a second Dark Age happen?

A second dark age? You mean there was ever a first dark age? That's not even debatable, it's plain false. The fall of the roman empire didn't lead into any "darker" an age than the one lived in the classical epoque, and for many people, there was actually and increase in the quality of life...

Fallout 4 may not contain a skill system

Yeah, this is old news. Since Fallout 4 is Skyrim with Guns, and since Skyrim doesn't put as much relevance into skill points... You get the picture. Opinions? Who cares? Fallout 4 is not Fallout, just as Fallout 3 wasn't. They can and will do whatever they like. I'll judge the game on its own...

    Vault City Canon Ending

First person Fallout? We got the cinematics for that. And Mad Max.

    A Waste?

Fallout 1 is REALLY not about the money you have and the loot you find. In Fallout 2 you need to care about the loot you bring, but not in Fallout 1. In Fallout 1 you can kill the Khans, not bring anything with you, not have any companions and only 5 strength, and halfway through the game...

If bethesda didnt have the fallout license

Troika were in the race for the Fallout license, if I remember correctly. There was an interview with Avellone where he said they "were massively outbid" by Bethesda. So, yeah, Fallout 3 would have been something along the lines of a post-apocaliptic Neverwinter Nights. Which is what Troika's PA...

Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

This, so much this. The whole thing boils down to the media coverage, not the fans. And, in my opinion, Pete Hines does a hell of a job spinning the media, because they all love Bethesda! They even credit Bethesda for the development of games they didn't develop at all, like Dishonored and...

Remember when Fallout: Tactics was the Big Bad?

Well, considering the main quest itself goes against Fallout canon, you know, with the whole Vault Zero thing and the origins of the brotherhood of steel, their motivations, weapons, talking deathclaws... Off the top of my head. I do enjoy FoT though. I've finished it two or three times...

Are shots to testicles really funny?

What does Marcus know anyway. Groin shots are about the knock downs. And they never work.

    cosplay help

The problem is the vault suits were made out of spandex. And spandex is not used that much these days... Of course if you go the Bethesda way, you can just get normal blue jumpsuits and you're good to go. But where's the fun in that?!

    Fallout 1 VS Fallout 2

Nah, I'm using the latest Restoration Project patch, and besides, I played Fallout 1 in this very same machine. If it was a system bug, wouldn't it apply to Fallout 1 and 2 both? But I didn't experience anything out of the ordinary. It was just tough encounters with bandits, slavers and geckos...

    Fallout 1 VS Fallout 2

I don't claim to be an expert and I may be talking out of my ass, but I always got the feeling that there were many missions in Fallout 2 that were on rails, where in Fallout 1, there were fewer missions, but you got about the in different ways. But, as I said, I may be mistaken. Fallout 2 has...
