Yeah... doesn't seem like the fabric crease came out too well as such in two-tone shading, either, eh? 'You're not sure, but the measurements 36-24-36 come to mind' and 'a shapely and seductive young woman' were what I was sorta going for, though. You're right, though, RS - the holster is a...

You know you play too much Fallout when...

Jones has blue creme soda? Damn, I'm getting some of that. Oh, and you know you play too much Fallout when you try to figure out whether you've ever been to Navarro by comparing the Fallout 2 map and a road atlas.

    Counter-Suck meets FO

CS seems to be particularly popular in China. ... something which isn't necessarily a recommendation.

Well, I can give this a shot.

Okay, third attempt with the PNG. Thanks, Wooz. I find it amusing, however, that you keep imagining me to be offended. Apparently, sarcasm is something you have not yet encountered in the wastes.

    Random half assed sketch

Very Ming-dynasty. The feet, that is. Otherwise, a decent pencil sketch. Scanned a lot cleaner than mine did.

:whatever: A shame. I could try to put it in another format (.gif, maybe?) but I doubt it would do much good - I was using a Mac version of Illustrator CS.

Classy. A sterling example of NMA's commitment to free expression. Bethsoft's PR division would be proud.

I'm not in the habit of starting flame wars. But if I get a chance at the metaphorical massive critical in the groin on a flamer, well... I'm sure you can appreciate the strength of the temptation. Still, discretion would appear to have been the better part of valour in this case. Wouldn't...

What, at being uniform, shallow and utterly tasteless? I think that would be a losing battle, myself.

How did you discover Fallout ?

I'm a recent convert - first bought Fallout (the original) in 2005. Played it; loved it. The characterisation was awesome and the developers had obviously gone for broke on the style, so here was a PC game I could respect. Fallout 2, which I have played through only this year, kept what was...

    What is your favorite perk/trait?

Gifted, Bonus HtH Attacks, Better Criticals... But I agree: Bloody Mess is just plain fun.

Okay, wrong crowd for manga-style art. Ehh, can't help that. Ratsnack: Mkay - non-flame comments a plus. Proportionally all I had to go on was the in-game character model. Also, fabric creases didn't come off so well in the pencil sketch. Re: pic 1, my crystal ball's as good as yours...

    Surnames

I'd agree with Ah-Teen. In a post-apocalyptic world where survival is not so certain, someone is most likely to identify him / herself by occupation or place of birth. Perhaps, though, by the time of Fallout 2, patronymics ('son of X', 'daughter of Y') had begun to arise again. For example...
