sOMETHING PEOPLE FAIL TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT (oops sorry for the caps) oil has *not* run out or actually come close to running out, the fallout based scenerio is when a economic hole appears, from the texas oilfields drying up, this triggers global economic meltdown leading to nuclear exchnage...

Well i have been playing Fallout 2 for a while now and was heading towards completeing it again, this time with a melee fighter, i svae every now and then. So i was going near SF and got caught up in a pressgang attack, knowing pressgangs have nasty weapons i decided to save in a whole new slot...

Maybe a bit OTT but it illustrates a valauble point.

The problem is not mass weapon amounts, there are plenty or even teh appearacne/description of the weapons, some weapons are redundnat, whilst this is not always bad (wakasashi blade, BB gun, rock etc) some weapons should be good, like grenades or rocket launchers or flamers, so i owuld surgest...

But it could be nmade to fit the setting, as it would be absed off the west coast the story line could easily be shifted..
