    200 year old wood houses

Maybe people are drawn there despite the risks because there is still so much stuff available there.

Some odd "holes" in Fallout 3

It'd be unlikely that Ireland got hit by nukes right? well, think about some of the crazy people like Steve Fawcett we have around who get off on taking huge risks and such... maybe Moriarty was one of those Europeans who is sort of fascinated by the American wild west thing and maybe his dream...

    200 year old wood houses

I think human re-settlement of the capitol wasteland is pretty recent, too radioactive until recently.

    200 year old wood houses

Keep in mind these are not wooden houses from our universe circa 2008 or 1950 or anything of the sort... we have no idea what sort of technologies were developed to winterize, fortify, renew houses by 2077 in an alternate reality that had many technological advances over our own. Think about...

Some odd "holes" in Fallout 3

These inaccuracies aren't mistakes or oversights they're conscious decisions and concessions to fun over realism. Realism is only one factor you have to weigh when creating a good game, fun is another and while that factor is deep within the territory of opinion, I think they made the right...

So, uh, did anyone like it?

I'm a long time fan of the series and I love Fallout 3 and consider it to be very much worthy of the name, and very much worthy of being considered a proper entry in the series. Honestly, I think it's a fantastic game, the more I play it the more I like it.

    Will Fallout 3 be remembered?

And how old are you sir? just curious, it seems to relate to the phenomenon you're describing, it'd help me understand where you're coming from to know. I myself am 28, and I've been a fan of the Fallout series since Fallout 1 which I bought around Christmas at the end of 1999, in a double...
