ok .. just tried it out ... seems that it very rarely happens that they carry ammo at all and when they do it is quite random (tried with 2000) DaC? can I go read your discussion there? and what/where is there?

So if I made all the random encounters carry 2000 of the chosen type of ammo I would stand a much better chance of actually finding some or does the random generator just eliminate item from being there regardless of amount?

I want to travel around the wasteland and kill things in fallout tactics but doing this will quickly make you run out of ammo. I've been playing around with the editor and it seems that random encounters don't have the items listed as being in their inventories. I open up...
