Do you think Microsoft will now push Bugthesda to release a remaster of New Vegas?

We all know for a fact that Todd HATES New Vegas for proving that he and his cronies don't understand Fallout for shit. When Oblivion Remaster was released I expected it to be laughed at and ignored, similar to Star Field. It's still Bugthesda game after all, wide as an ocean, shallow as a puddle.

However, as of the time of writing, the game is sitting at 82% (out of 40k+ reviews). Hell, it had an all time peak of 150 000+ people and even now more than 40 000 are playing it daily. Personally, I am not sure I want that. I definitely see notFallout 3 being remastered. Why? Because people see through nostalgia goggles and remember it better than it was.

As for New Vegas... your guess is as good as mine. I would say 50% at most. What do you guys think?
 
I don’t think Todd hates New Vegas. If they end up remastering 3 (which is all but confirmed at this point) then they’ll probably do the same to New Vegas.
 
Yeah... I think saying Todd hates New Vegas is kind of shallow at this point.
I don't know what Todd thinks, I've never spoken to the guy.
I don't know if when he gets home, he has a picture of New Vegas on a dart board that he throws darts at every night.

I do think a New Vegas remaster is very likely however. How much did it cost to remaster Oblivion? I think the risk/reward is worth it.
 
Todd actually loves New Vegas. I've talked to him about it once. He thought it was a pretty dope game all in all.
 
It's probabbly a matter of legal rights or something.

I have my doubt that Bethesda can do anything to the works of Obsidian.

After all, if they can, they would have done so so so long ago.

Fallout 4 proved that: they cant do sheeeesh, so they avoid and circumvent it entirely.
 
If Bethesda were to remaster New Vegas, they would fuck it up hard like they did with Oblivion remastered, which was their own game. Besides, wouldn't it make way more sense for Microsoft to let Obsidian remaster it since they were the ones who developed it?

ask yourself "did Microsoft do anything with their studios they bought besides shutting them down?" and you will get your answer
it is only bethesda decision to give the green light to obsidian
and even so, this is remaster that neither fix previous bug and problems nor it makes the game system like the bad leveling system better and no restoring cut content, it is just texture pack and quality of life mod for easy money
nv will be the same game but worse to run since they ue5 and memory leak issues

I think its a bit extreme to say todd hates new vegas but likely yes they probably will make a remaster of new vegas with it being one of the most beloved entries in the franchise i dont think the push will be from microsoft however but more likely from fans especially if you believe fallout 3 is getting remastered i feel thatd create a push for a nv remaster
