Fallout eat ti gambling glitch?

Hello, I just recently started playing fallout et ti and got it working, if you remember my name from before I was having issues getting it working but I recently built a new PC and can finally play this, I wanted to do the roulette glitch (holding 1 and 4) but I keep losing caps, is there a trick to this or some stat requirement in gambling?
 
Dude.. what are You talking about?! there never were a "roulette glitch" first thing is the 1 and 5 keypress trick is only viable for dice gambling tables not the roulette/craps ones, and secondly you need to have sufficiently high enaugh gambling skill,requiremet for which i think was raised a bit in ET Tu compared to vanilla Fo1, as EtTu was never ment to be 1:1 experience when compared to vanilla Fo1. EtTu *is* a mod, and as such has liberities to edit stuff here ant there..
Simply put:
#1 You need to go to dice gambling (certain junktown casino tables, not the malteese falcon one in the hub-this one is craps/roulette-)
#2 You need sufficient gambling skill to have decent chance of winning per each bet tier [you can snatch regular dice off the shelf in gizmo's office and steal loaded dice from the tablegirl and plant the regular ones in one go, and you'll have better chance at winning, though skill investment is still a must]..

Thank you very much for clearing this up, I was able to meet my cap requirements through lots of bartering and muling between Ian and tycho with expensive weapons and gear, it was a total pain in the butt but I have a turbo plasma rifle and super cattle prod I think I’m ready for end game maybe, but also the cathedral is whooping my ass.

the only thing you actually ned for both Military Base and Cathedral is lots of action points Bonus Rate of Fire, Sniper perk, and a minigun with decent big guns skill.. your follower if you stick with any should have their turtleshells as well with at least 10mm carabine ( no not 10mm smg the HK P90c fo2 variant, and you should do fine.. i've personally played with tough mutants=50 ( that's 999hp for nearly all supermuntants ) and i did fine. so You should too
