    include examples. Just now I wanted to see what "delicate" becomes in Norwegian, and I *feared* it would translate to "delikat", which is a word we have, which DOES NOT mean "delicate" - and it did!

    In Norwegian "delikat" *only* means delicious to eat, on a dinner plate. It does *never* mean lightly built, or fragile, or - well - delicate!

    Yes, the words are definitely cognates - but cognates do not automatically make the words *mean* the same! It is a very common problem in (sloppy) translations.
