"like a Red Dead Redemption spin-off." Seriously? Has he never heard of a western?
And apparently to him it doesn't feel like a Fallout game at all either. But he started playing Fallout 3 after and he says it's much more of a Fallout game than NV.
Because Bethesda somehow brainwashed people into thinking Fallout is about exploring destroyed areas, which is not the case.
Has he ever played any of the original fallout games at all? What exactly makes a fallout game to him? At least tell me he doesn't like fallout 4.
Jokes on you. Before he even played 3 and NV, he played Fallout 4 and back then he said it was amazing and that he wants to download it and 100% it again. (Got this from a really old convo on Discord w/ him so who knows if he 100%-ed F4 again.)
Guess he doesn't lke RPGs if he likes Fallout 4.
The opion that the setting does;t feel like a fallout game is completely retarded if you actually played fo1 and fo2
I think you have to face it.
It's time to get new friends.
Sounds like your friend is beyond help.
@Crni Vuk Don't worry about it. I still have time to either convince him or deal with the fact that he just picked the wrong Fallout game (Fallout 4) as a first.
Also thank you guys for all your opinions. I just wanted to have someone to talk to (that is not the friend) and have some friendly forum comfort regarding this. It hurts to see someone dislike NV that way.
Like @Daniel The NCR Veteran , 1, 2, and NV have a consistent continuity while 3 and 4 retcons and contradicts what those games established rather than expanding upon them. 3 and 4 are very backwards plot wise imo.
