Fallout classics are games that will never grow old. I can play them for 99th time and still find replaying value, the graphics and art are really conserved on time. Mainly 2D games grow old really slower than 3D ones, but that is not the only asset on the balance. A great example of that is...

Thrash was in a way heavy influenced by NWOBHM. Slayer's best disc (for me haha) "Show no mercy" is a proof of beeing heavy influenced by Iron Maiden. I am more in the road of Thrash and future derivations of the genre, but I consider both to be very very influencing subgenres.

Not the classics? Fallout 3 looks like a "good game" near FO4, but compared to the classics (Or NV) is really poor in a lot of aspects. That is the intention of the post FO3 looked bad alongside other magnificent games in the franchise, but FO4 boosted it up since it went really really down.

Overall gameplay (in combat) and new VATS is good. The rest is a pile of shit.

Yes, and also it won't happen, and if it happens, it won't be canon. Fallout is sadly lost of any hope. I don't like being generalistic or apocaliptic, but FO3 showed crap writing, and NV came showing the path ahead, and they did it worse. So the only thing to hope is getting worse and worse on...
