How do you feel about mutants?

I consider them as fully human, as they were born that way, can't reproduce. Beside, considering then as non human would mean that the mutants in the real world aren't humans, which would be very offensive. Took me 7 years to write the first post.

Why I like Fallout 2 more than Fallout 1

The main plot of Fallout 1 is wonderful and the overall game is a tighter experience. But most of the smaller locations, unrelated to the main plot, are kind of generic. On the other end, Fallout 2 has very few boring locations.

Guide to fan-made new adventure with original Fallout gameplay

You should check with a staff member. I don't know how it works.

You can upload it there, and mention it there in case he still updates the database.

Do you guys think the Humans in Fallout’s world have actually mutated or no?

I think everyone evolved somehow, unless they lived in a remote place untouched by either the blast, the winds or anything that came after. The ghouls, super-mutants and other things being the most obvious. The wastelander because they were exposed all their lives (and their ancestors too) to...

They should add horses to Fallout!

Fallout 2 plot happens during a long drought, that has some huge consequences to some settlements. It makes sense in context to not have that much green, without the need to not be green in other games.

Let's discuss Dead Money. Was it that bad?

I consider Dead Money and Freeside as the best post-fo1-fo2 parts.

They should add horses to Fallout!

Considering that we now have running ghouls, synths, 50 shades of super-mutants, 200 years kid in the fridge, and Gary, i don't think we need an explanation in order to have horses in the next game.

Why do Salvatore’s men stay loyal to him?

Salvatore is probably the one who held the «family» together for decades. Many guys of his inner circle joined him when he was stong and able, and learned to respect him. Beside, the guy is a mean son of a bitch. If you try to kill him and fail, you would wish you were never born. Also, if it is...

    What happened to the Wannamingos?

I don't need them to be cannonically anihiliated in the bible to not have them in the sequels. A local phenomeon works for me.

A poll I pulled out of my ass

Definitely more rpg\mods\subforums and stuff. A good Fallout game would be some sort of paradox at this point...

Implementing multiple playable races to Fallout?

I could definitely see the ghoul having a bunch of perks and skill points from the get go, but SPECIAL malus and being slower to learn new skills\perks. They are old people. It is harder for them to learn new stuff. And they would definitely be healed by radiation, not just have a mere bonus of...

If Harold never made it to a Vault... (suggestion by Ugly Kid)

If they find Maxson's logs, the location would be very significant for them.

What do you think would’ve happened to Myron, had he never been killed?

Best outcome for him would be to never join the chosen one and stays with the mordinos. The guys doesn't seem he can take care of himself, has a mouth that can easily make new enemies, and is already on the Mordino's wanted list, plus all the chosen one's enemies. He wouldn't last long on his...

If Harold never made it to a Vault... (suggestion by Ugly Kid)

It depends on what kind of other person would try to find the source. Richard Grey becoming the master is kind of what rended that purpose moot. For a while, he absorbed any new mutants, so they wouldn't be a threat elsewhere. And when he stopped absorbing them, he start organizing them, making...

If Harold never made it to a Vault... (suggestion by Ugly Kid)

I was under the impression that Vault city would still have radiation issues even if the ghouls didn't live in gecko, but i might be mistaken. (the fact that the poseidon oil station exist and isn't maintained for centuries would certainly lead to radiation leaks.) Beside, without the ghouls...

What if the Water Chip never broke?

Pleasantly surprised by this thread. Allow me to differ on a couple of points. - The master doesn't know about the super-mutant sterility, but the high ranked members of his factions are aware of it and purposly hide it to him. They are already working on a solution in Fallout 1 era. So, it...

Retcons you’d like (excluding Bethesda’s lore)

The original dev team agreeing with each other about ghoul\super-mutant lore, instead of having Cain vs Taylor vs whoever, then Avellone's bible make the decision, to be contradicted by Bethesda and Josh Sawyer years later.

Why do companions turn you down for having too many people?

They all feel compelled to argue for every single decision, including the pariah dog. Plus, they all hate each other.

The Master/Unity was the Fallout universe’s best hope

The concept that the Master defends have some appeal, but it is too early to tell if he could have maintained the unity on a large scale. Considering his lieutenants lied to him about the sterility, internal conflicts don't seem impossible.
