    I miss you, Fallout

I have nothing against achievements, though nothing for them either. I just ignore the whole thing, pretty much, but I doesn't disturb me except when it pops up right in the middle of a game, but then I tend to disable Steam Overlay anyways...

    My Power Armor Change Proposal

Exactly. This should, if anything, make things more interesting when choosing a Faction, and considering your actions. I don't get this whole "the player shouldn't be penalized for their choices" thing. Of course we should, we should get vertibird squads hunting us in Fallout 4 for messing with...

    Finally uninstalled

To me, it honestly feels like a huge step forward. Don't get me wrong, I like good-looking games and I actually liked Fallout 4's graphics, especially the lighting and textures, and weather, but good RPG interactions beat graphics for me any day. So the feeling to me is way more "Now there's an...

"Kid In The Fridge" Quest = the stupidest quest ever.

At rank 3, it removes Jet from the game. At rank 4, you can finally shoot Garvey and his pals in the face!

    Finally uninstalled

Exactly, 15 days into buying the game I was back to New Vegas... And having waaaaay more fun again, despite having more than 300h in it.

    The NCR Ending Is Canon

I could argue it. I really could, I could try to prove you wrong, to show you. But I'm tired, so: H-E-R-E-S-Y. They make horrible Fallout games. Period.

    Weapons in Fallout 4?

It's ridiculous even as a machinegun. This isn't the 1910s-30s. And the thought they left something unfinished and half-assed, while not surprising in the least, is preposterous after such a long development time.

Left-wing Bias in Bethesda's Fallout Products

I'll have to say, that is a fair point.

If you had to choose TWO things Fallout 4 did RIGHT, what would they be?

Yeah, those little things turned a good RPG in one of my favorites of all time, the little moments... Screaming ICE CREAM! And be granted top-level clearance at REPCONN was priceless

    I miss you, Fallout

Jesus, Fallout 3 was HORRIBLE. Seriously. The whole plot of the thing makes no goddamn sense at all. It's absolutely ridiculous. I don't like Fallout 4 for many, many reasons, but c'mon, it is a better plot. Not Fallout-worthy, or even good RPG-worthy, but 3's was just... I have no words to...

If you had to choose TWO things Fallout 4 did RIGHT, what would they be?

HERESY! I like when the FPS is mixed-in with RPG elements such as skill-dependent accuracy. And the skill-based checks on New Vegas were pretty good, I missed that a lot, it made your build matter much more than just the way you kill stuff.

"Kid In The Fridge" Quest = the stupidest quest ever.

And not only the scene appeared only if you had Wild Wasteland, even then the occupant DIED. Even when making a wackier version of Fallout did Obsidian dream of making the person inside actually alive.

    Bethesda's Lore Recons

Well, they learned some latin! It's far more than you can say about most public education systems...

An analogy for the "mods 'll fix it" argument

We're all on the same boat mate, at least I think most of us are. All I could think through all that hype was "They couldn't POSSIBLY have spent the previous four years fucking it up, could they? I mean, New Vegas sold well, and... You know, showed them! Fallout 3 was crap, but it was their...

    A Return to Form

    1. I agree, the gothic art deco looked amazing. Defintely a plus! 2. Definitely something needed, the whole junktown thing has its own charm, but gets old really fast. Particularly if we're talking larger communities. 3. Your reasoning is good here - I just love the music too much to agree on...

An analogy for the "mods 'll fix it" argument

No Steam refunds for me either. That's what I get for wanting to believe so damn much I spent nearly 80h on the goddamn thing...

PC World mentions Fallout4 as game of the year even though they think it's a bad game

Unfortunately I think that the torrential downpour of fat cash maaaaaay make the flak hard to hear over at Bethesda. But silver-lining I guess, still makes me wet dream about them saying "Yeah, you know? They're right... Obsidian, come over here! How many years do you need to make the best...

    Ideas for Obsidian spin off?

I actually think that sounds really, really awesome (sans the Liberty Prime thing, sorry, but if I ever see that abomination in another Fallout game I'll kill myself).
