    Todd Howard DICE lecture

Actually no, since the original Fallouts didn't do it in slow-motion. Read twice! Edit: Actually, read between the lines.

    FOnline second open test started

Would anyone be so kind and upload the client to rapidshare (or any of the likes) again? The download from the official website stops at exactly 265kb. Nevermind. Has finally worked after the fifth try.

    More Fallout 3 tidbits

Right. Also: Not entirely sure how many boxes of maccaroni, cheesy puffs and evening dinners I've found throughout Fallout 2, but I did find plenty of stray ammo. This point is rather baseless anyway, since no one can tell for how long these items have been in those places. I guess this is...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #25

Just like there is an awful lot of new accounts arguing how incredibly bad the game is. Evens it out, I suppose. Would someone be so kind to point these "many common elements" out? I'd appreciate it. Whereas comparing Fallout 3 to, say, Fallout 1 or 2 is downright ridiculous and...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #23

The beginning and the dialogue spoken in it is actually pretty decent and nothing like you "quoted" there. It's rather life-like. Please complain about the actual bad dialogue and voice acting instead of making things up?

    Fallout 3 Screenshots

Am I missing something about the jaw of that Deathclaw? How I'm seeing it: Jaw's as flat as the clay model's. I really don't understand how you guys can complain about the 3D model.

    Fallout 3 Screenshots

I got to say, Christine Young looks very good compared to other human models. The woman her right reminds me of an aging Tandi (who smokes like that, though?), the one behind her has a very generic and bland face, almost as if she was made from the default model in the character creation...

    GameSpy Fallout 3 sound interview

Too bad Lampert didn't want to tell the interviewer how many voice actors were used in the game. His explanation also suggests that they weren't too many... Oh well, nice interview nonetheless.

    Edge Online previews Fallout 3

You've misunderstood the reviewer. He's speaking about the moment you're getting out of the tutorial dungeon (?) and heading into the "real" world. I really like that review. Very balanced as already mentioned.

Fallout 3 interviews: TeamXbox, VideoGamer.com, Gamasutra

They actually have implemented weapon-type specific death animations, it seems. One of the trailer videos showed the "vaporize" animation on a ghoul. Which looked pretty good, too. So, who knows what else they have done? it's the "standard" ones that look just awful and detached. There's...

Fallout 3 at PAX: CrunchGear Hands-on Video

I don't like sounding like a nitpicking SOB who's jumping to conclusions but; maybe Beth decided that high to-hit percentages on weapons are more fun as opposed to very low ones? Fun and "feeling right" is a big aspect of their philosophy, so maybe?

Shacknews Impressions and Vault Dweller's Guide Scans

Hey, they had to use a different set of writers, can't expect them to completely imitate FO1's VDSG. I think it's wonderfully done, I love the illustrations. Reminds me a bit of Andrew Loomis' style, I like that. Any way to find out who made it? As far as I can see, it might not be...
