    Just to clarify on the NPC leveling issue: they level, but then DE-level. Probably after I save and reload. EDIT: Upon further investigation, they all use their base .pro files (eg. Vic: 0000062) or at least revert to that after I reload. I cannot edit the base .pro files installed by the RP...

    That's exactly what I was thinking. Call it that if you will. The NPCs in this game are definitely less generic than they were in Morrowind, though. At least if they have nothing substantial to say their dialogue is in floats instead of a tedious interface.

    I actually went ahead and reduced the AP cost for Throwing myself because I plan to use it as my main combat skill when I get it high enough. Throwing pales in comparison to Small Guns already, plus thrown weapons can be lost (not to mention they weigh you down a lot more than one main gun)...

    Definitely. I save and load during combat all the time and have never gotten issues of any kind, aside from this one, I can swear by that. I replay Fallout 2 every couple of years. Does this just apply to encounters inserted by mods?

    That's exactly what I meant. But... wait, if you switched the .223 FMJ and 9mm ball protos around, wouldn't that mean the .223 ammo would become much rarer and the 9mm balls much more common, or am I just being daft?
