I think unpredictability belongs more in a non-tactical game. What if you were playing something like.. Warhammer, and you've got 30 pikemen lined up against 15 approaching mounted units, and they all get a defense bypasser (by some stroke of luck) and kill half your regiment that was pretty...

Alternatively, you could put all your skill points into your gunpower, perks into making your character the toughest thing to ever walk the Fallout world, and a super mutant could get a defense bypasser and do over 1000 damage. One thing I've always disliked about the original Fallouts and...

I wonder if I could kill those super mutants in Necropolis at level 2 or 3... hmm.. Actually I think I have killed them at pretty low levels before. It just takes getting a good critical on the one with the minigun. 8-) Err.. I think he had a minigun... :?

I sunk about a month of playtime into Oblivion, so I'm guessing that I'll enjoy Fallout 3 for at least that much time. I could be wrong though. *shrugs* Also, what kind of class is this? People must be forced to play older games? Is it that hard to force yourself to play an old game just to...

PSM3 Fallout 3 review, not impressed with PS3 version

I've never played Halo online, thankfully. I did watch my nephew play Halo 3 online a bit. It looked kinda like... well any other first person shooter when you play it online. Well that and it didn't look much different from the original Halo in terms of the environment and graphics. Oh and...

PSM3 Fallout 3 review, not impressed with PS3 version

My only guess is anger over exclusives. :P I'm guessing the same could be said about the Xbox 360 over its exclusives, but nobody cares about Halo. Oh and I've had the chance to play GTA4 on the 360 and it plays much better on the PS3. That could be because I'm not really use to the 360...

PSM3 Fallout 3 review, not impressed with PS3 version

How about a world with multiple consoles that ALL the games work on? Kinda like the PC market I guess. :P I think it could probably be possible in the near future though... possible, but not probably, since the current state of gaming is quite profitable for certain companies.

PSM3 Fallout 3 review, not impressed with PS3 version

DLC content for 360 is probably treated better because XBox live is a service you have to pay for, whereas the online PS3 services are all FREE. Therefore Microsoft has some funds available to pay for those exclusives, whereas the PS3 online service is just "there" so basically they can put the...

    Lost opportunities for Fallout 3

Of course the tribal girls were completely nude! What pants? That's just hairy legs. Get your pixels straight. Oh and when you put power armor on it's see-through. It gives your character's skin a gray tint though so it's hard to tell. And the smileys here are all naked, but have...

    Fallout 3 OXM 10/11 confirmed

If you just say "Are there laws being broken here?" then you could interpret that as being inquisitive and wanting more information, when what the character is actually saying, is that there are likely no laws being broken. Both statements can be interpreted as saying, "So? I don't see a...

    Fallout 3 OXM 10/11 confirmed

I wonder if the Fallout 3 PC will also sound like a guy (as they did in Oblivion) when they get hurt? :P "Hraaagh!" - husky female Nord voice while launching an attack Or at least it's suppose to sound female...

    Fallout 3 OXM 10/11 confirmed

The PC voice in Oblivion was pretty annoying. I hope they didn't do the same thing for Fallout 3. Your character should be silent at all times, even if they are getting disemboweled.
