I believe they addressed this issue in NV. Once you earn too much money gambling they "ban" you from the Casino (so as not to "destroy" the economy) Either way, optional mini-game = good. Forced mini game (ie lock picking, hacking) = not so good

I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up but all these little changes and tweaks being made to FNV are doin it for me. Fallout 3 didn't have the prettiest graphics but that to me is secondary to better game play. Some pros from the interview, No Big Baddie, multiple critical paths, revamped...

What does this say about the ongoing legal case Interplay vs Beth? Has it been settled in Interplay's favor?

The "release date for 2.1 has been pushed back multiple times :evil: Even if Killap does let us know another date I'm sure it will only be released once it is 100% ready to go and no sooner even if dates were said (which is a good thing just hard to wait for!)

I'm trying not to get too hyped up about F:NV but it sounds like they are fixing almost all the problems I had with part 3 as well as adding in some cool new featires (the SPECIAL overhaul is my top pick)

Gimmick? How so? Its only a gimmick movie if it relied on its "gimmick" for the entire movie, but it had great acting, written very well and looked great. If you watch the movie in its sequential order (special edition feature) its still a great film. I'm assuming by gimmick you mean the way...
