Rofl.
Also, On the radio, Three Dog talks about your dad leaving the vault.. and then he says somebody else left the vault too (ie, you). But the only NPC I've seen I killed, so how would anybody know?
I talked to that kid who lost his dad, and one of the dialogue options was asking him about the other people in Grayditch, despite the fact that I wasn't in Grayditch, and didn't know the kid was from there either.
I didn't think the deaths were scripted animations. They look like the physics-based deaths to me. They probably have some sort of script that makes sure kids are always invincible to cover themselves when someone mods them to be killable. That way they can say that killing them was totally not...
How is guessing a password and the game telling you how many letters you got right more 'impressively naturalistic' than the whole pipe dream mechanic from Bioshock (haven't played SS2)? Neither are good representations.
Though I do love pipe dream.
I think it's gonna suck personally, but I also have to reserve final judgment until the game is released and I can try it. I'm just leaning really hard in the direction of not liking it. If it's good, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

As much as they go on about their explosions, that explosion looks pretty crappy. Like, 5 years ago crappy.
And that gun texture is way low res. Actually, a lot of those textures look low-res.
If that's supposed to be a PPSH I'm going to cry. They moved the drum forward like 8 inches and added a shotgun style pump. WTF? But then again, I'd cry if that was supposed to be a shotgun too.
Sorry about breaking the board.. I'm at a pretty high res so I didn't notice.
Yeah, it's definitely not a PPSH. There's no grip before the drum on any shotgun / machine gun I know of. Maybe this is some weird mutant gun from their schematics system.
Um, the drum on that shotgun is in the wrong place. It should be like so: http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc91/jddaniels3/knoxx.jpg
Unless there's some strange shotgun variant where it feeds farther forward?
Don't break the board, please. -Per
If a story is one of their main inspirations, you'd figure they'd take a lot of elements from it, right? And not just one? If the fact that it's post-apocalyptic is the only criteria for being a main inspiration, shouldn't Fallout be their main inspiration?
So, you walk around by yourself, run away from everything, don't talk to anybody, have 3 bullets total, and there are no mutants of any kind. It's like he just mentioned a random post-apocalyptic story.
