    Witcher 2

Nah, but if there's one thing I wouldn't want to advertised with sex, it's computer games. That's what toothpaste commercials are for. EDIT added a missing "what". Also, I caught up for the last day to preorder the game, gonna get it tomorrow :)

    Witcher 2

Yeah, a shame she's made into a sex-doll in the promotial campaign. Hope the game will not do so - less sluttish outfit is a good start. Personally, the idea of promoting a virtual-generated girl in Playboy is silly, I mean come on - aren't we aiming for *real* maturity this time around? As...

    Witcher 2

You are not. In TW1 there was the plain shirt in the beginning, the standard issue leather jacket and 3 variations of the bad-ass ending armor, which gives us 5 diffrent outfits :D Now, Geralt will have a lot of armors to choose from and all will change his appearence. Most of them are...

Bethesda details DLC plans, Honest Hearts coming 17th May

Say hello to tribals wearing Daedric armor!

    Max Payne 3

Perhaps the South American storyline will only be a part of the game, with a big chunk of it still in the NYC? There are screens to support it after all.

Bethesda details DLC plans, Honest Hearts coming 17th May

Well perhaps I will finally dust off New Vegas after all. I can't seem to return to it after trying to finish it for the second time. Dead Money didn't exactly catch my attention, but these look interesting enough.

    Max Payne 3

Well I can live with the revamp as long as they give the mood of it right, make the player *feel* like this is what Max would do, giving the current situation. Besides, a change of pace is nice, but as I said before, make it right. Times change, there are other places and situations that...

    Max Payne 3

[/spoiler:f92f7bde03] If that's pretty to you, you got pretty low standards my friend. Anyway, I don't judge the game on those few screenshots, it may go Deus Ex:HR way, that is get better as new information comes. Come to think of it, after killing hundreds of people, losing two loves of...

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Have tried playing COD4 on multi? I've been meaning to try it again sometime, since it had a great multiplayer which unfortunatly took the wrong direction as for how people played it (no trying to immerse in the atmosphere, but taking uber weapons, exploiting all the camp-spots etc.).

first details on Mass Effect 3's plot *spoiler*

I always considered Mass Effect franchise to be extremely uninspired, bastardized version of KotOR with lots of goofy stuff and a main character stylised to be the next Jesus (or Jesusina) for the kids. Shallow combat, poorly executed emotional drama here and there with the usual save the world...

    Witcher 2

Well, even a master swordsman won't be killing an enemy with a shield and a solid armor with ease, he just won't get killed first. So I guess not resetting Geralt's skills is fine, since we learn all the time :) Or something like that

Dragon Age II: now more like Mass Effect 2

I lost my optimism about the game after I learned how little I can do to change the outcome of the final confrontation or even some quests. Like Merril's and Anders' quest are so shitty, no matter what you do (even outright denying to do the quest), the game forces you to complete it with some...

Dragon Age II: now more like Mass Effect 2

I see some mindless trolling around here. Despite it's flaws, DAII is a good game. Not living up to the hype, but a good game nonetheless and certainly not of an add-on quality. The whole story of Hawke's rising is pretty plausibile, as far as fantasy games go. Never had I the feeling that what...

2011 Libyan uprising and no fly zone.

If NATO said "We will not intervene in Libya because it is none of our affair and we will not fight against a legitimate country", then people would accuse them of cowardice and inaction. Now that they decided to step in, folks say they are unjust aggressors. Either way, NATO is pretty much hated.

Dragon Age II: now more like Mass Effect 2

I'm playing the game and despite all it's flaws (and extremely poor prologue), it's a very enjoyable game. I just can't seem not to like it. I even liked the new combat, the way everything flies around after a shield bash is simply fun in a way Origin never was.

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I guess that happens all the time, people who are 5 years older than me are pretty often diffrent than me or most of my friends simply because they were raised in diffrent conditions. You'd be surprised what some of the older folks may have to say about your generation. It's the same old stuff...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Rise of the White Wolf wasn't a port per se, it was quite a standalone version of the game. It was supposed to be re-done for the consoles, not simply ported. It is diffrent with the sequel, as the devs said that they ported parts of the game to Xbox360 and it worked quite fine. Still, there...

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Alchemy is very important in the Witcher, it is supposed to be improved in the sequel.

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

That's a shallow opinion. The game does not try too hard to be dark and mature, it simply shows that there are no innocent people. A drug dealer may be just an undercover city guard, working to undermine the drug trade, a seemingly just and honorable knight can degrade into a simple killer, but...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

From what I gathered from the interviews, it is fitted for multi-platforming, but not developed simultanously with the PC version. They plan to port it the game to other platforms after PC hits the shelves. But this requires verifications, I often make mistakes.
