    Wasteland 2 Kickstarter has launched

http://wasteland.inxile-entertainment.com/ is pretty slow for me now, looks like it's getting some extra traffic.

    Wasteland 2 Kickstarter has launched

They got 1% of the needed sum within an hour of the Kickstarter's launch, when most of the US is asleep and before they got any major coverage. Looks pretty optimistic so far.

As mentioned before, there are ways of doing it without having an actual credit card.

Tim Cain GDC 2012 Fallout Post-mortem Live

In the unpatched Fallout, the mutant army would indeed overrun various towns over time, and there was a time limit before they took over Vault 13 as well. The water chip limit was never removed. One remnant of this is Patrick the Celt's dialogue. He still mentions the various towns as...

    InXile reveals Kickstarter tier rewards

My name is in the credits of Lionheart, although given how the game turned out to be it's not much of a thing to brag about. :)

    InXile reveals Kickstarter tier rewards

Like I said in the official forum, I don't mind the extra skill and weapon if they're not something game-breaking but e.g. a largely useless skill like toaster repair added for nostalgia factor.

Ken St Andre joins Wasteland 2 team

Well, I guess they could always bring back a few other people like Bill Dugan or Liz Danforth, but the principal members of the team are now on board. Update: Looks like Brian did ask Liz Danforth to come on board, but she's still considering it.

What ever happened to Meantime (Wasteland II)?

Funny that one of the original ideas for the GURPS game that eventually became Fallout was time travel.

Lets speculate: the fate of Citadel Starstation

There was a plot, but much of it was in the paragraph book.

Lets speculate: the fate of Citadel Starstation

Yeah, I think that there will be references to the original, but I don't expect the main plot to depend much on it.

Lets speculate: the fate of Citadel Starstation

Well, myself, I didn't mind BOMB-1 in Van Buren either, I think it did fit the setting, unlike e.g. Mothership Zeta. And yeah, I am aware that Wasteland is not Fallout.

Lets speculate: the fate of Citadel Starstation

Well, you weren't a fan of that in Van Buren, AFAIR? What if the space station is actually taken over by aliens from, let's say, Mothership Theta?

InXile hires Mark Morgan for Wasteland

Because Stackpole, Pavlish and Fargo are three of the four original designers of Wasteland.

    Retro style?

One of the iconic melee weapons in Wasteland was the Proton Axe, which has since also appeared in Old World Blues.

InXile filming for Kickstarter this week

Maybe after they gather the money for the project Fargo should start another Kickstarter for getting the name "Interplay" back.

InXile hires Mark Morgan for Wasteland

    Retro style?

The original Wasteland had mostly fictional variants of real-world weapons, like AK-97, VP91Z and M1989A1 instead of AK-47, VP70Z or M16, so I'd like them to keep it that way too.

Did the prewar-fallout world have some kind of internet?

Yeah, looks like they had company networks, some of them interconnected to an extent, but nothing like the modern Internet.
