Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Thanks, Bear man! All the work you put in is very much appreciated.

    Planescape; Torment modifications

If you find the game boring, there are no patches/mods that will fix that for you. However, if you want to play the game and enjoy it the most, go to SpellholdStudios and get Qwinn's Fixpack and Ghostdog's UI fixes for widescreens and higher resolutions. The fixpack really does fix a lot of...

    Seeking PS:Torment Advice

Pixote, that is an awesome map! None of my Modron Cube maps (the area I have mapped more times than any area in any other game) looked anything as good. Mine were mostly scribbled on the backs of envelopes.

    Favorite CONSOLE Rpgs

I recently played Demon's Souls on my brother's PS3. I liked it quite a bit.

Developers' Choice RPG of the Decade

Arcanum is my pick for best RPG. I absolutely loved how many different ways there were to create a character. I've created more characters in Arcanum than in any other game. So many many completely viable variations. With real differences, too. Best ARPG? Torchlight. Not because it has the...

Well, I suppose I'll play a few levels of Torchlight and then check back. Misteryo

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.2 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Excited about everything in the new version, but most excited about Kaga redone. Although perhaps not-so-well implemented the first go-round, I was entranced anyway. The idea was there, and it was striking. Looking forward to seeing the implementation in 2.0. Misteryo

    Virus

I've used Avast antivirus and Spybot Search & Destroy together for a few years now on Windows operating systems. Currently running both with Windows 7's own defender system. Nothing gets through, ever. Even better, they all three play nice together. Misteryo

Urquhart Inside the Vault, MCA Outside It

I've always thought it makes sense for a game designer to be less pissed off than the fans about a new company taking the title in a different direction. I mean, the game you made is done, and it's out there in the world, and it's got fans... and your work is done. You move on to other projects...

    Call of Pripyat, Performance Patch

Movies on film record a series of still images and play them back at a certain unvarying frame rate. 24 fps is enough to fool the human eye into thinking it is seeing fluid motion. That is where all this higher-frame-rates-don't-matter stuff begins. However, motion blur is present on plenty of...

EA: We hate you C&C fans

It's possible I'm too tired to understand irony right now, but... I don't get it? Where does hate come in to free games? Misteryo EDIT: Nevermind. I see now that you are answering the contentions of another thread.

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Torchlight, about a half hour a day. Hard to find a game that fits well into that kind of gaming schedule. Torchlight is perfect for it. Misteryo

Heavy Rain: What has been Watched can not be Unwatched

I'm looking forward to playing this one. I'm one of the people who did not hate Indigo Prophecy (Faranheit, for Euros). It wasn't perfect, and there were moments where the QTE got frustrating instead of fun. But, it is something different in the game smorgasbord. It's like an adventure game...

SSD - to wait or not to wait

I just did a round of prospective shopping for SSDs, and for my budget they're still just too expensive. I'll check again in six months. If I had money to burn, I'd go for it, though. New toys! Since no one I know has one, I can't even get a hands-on trial. Misteryo
