Agreed. Although the pre-war wooden buildings were a bit out of place, they looked rather nice. One of my favorite moments of the game was just walking over a broken bridge, without an enemy in sight. Just me and the land.

Is it just me or does that remind you guys of the deadric armour from Oblivion?

I'd just like to point out that most of the professional critics have never played Fallout 1 or 2 before. They compare Fallout 3 to Oblivion, not its true predecessors. Because I like Fallout 1 and 2, and Fallout 3 is nothing like them, I am saddened, and therefore dislike Fallout 3.

Who wouldn't want to see these things in the Fallout setting? :crazy:

You're damn right it wasn't. By the endgame it took up the bulk of most of my character's carry weight. damn bb's are heavy.

Everyone is super lazy? Their moms died and they didn't have anyone to tell them to clean up their rooms? Not that it is facepalm worthy, but it just further proves how Beth sometimes just slaps together elements they think are 'cool', and they lack a overarching vision.

I prefer HL1 to HL2 as well. There is just some undefined character that the second one misses. Also, the shotgun in hl1 > the shotgun in hl2.
