    The state of videogames

They are bad even from that angle. Michael Bay is a terrible writer/director. Stealth games? Worse. Old style FPSs? Worse. Graphic adventures? Worse. Beat'em up? Nonexistant. Action adventure a-la Tomb Raider? Nonexistant. The remake is not a better game in almost every way possible...

The Ultimate Movie Thread of Ultimate Destiny

Haven't you seen this? This has fail written all over it. From the unneeded change in the premise, to Murphy being more human (both physically and mentally), to him being much more agile, to the stupid "Murphy, you have to meet your son" scene. I have only one thing to say. Definitively a...

Shadow Warrior (2013), fantastic slasher/shooter from FWH

It's already out? O_o Didn't hear anything about it after the initial reveal. Sooooo...how much it resembles the original?

Obsidian to develop (console and PC) SouthPark RPG

Delayed AGAIN? What the hell? That's...what? Releasing one year later than it would have been under THQ?

    Your least favorite FO3 quest.

Oh god, such a hard choice. As SnapSlav said almost every quest in FO3 has some retadred elements, choosing the worst isn't easy. I'd say that the worst two for me were: -The Arefu quest. So you track down this bunch of loonatics that terrorized the small settlment, killed their brhamins (not...

    Guns or Energy Weapons

That's debatable. Sure, three types of ammo power 90% EW weapons but a)the total number of EW weapons is small compared to the Guns weapons b)multiple EW weapons use more than one battery per shot For example, there are 7 weapons that use the Small Energy Cells, but there are 5 weapons...

Mr. New Vegas as an AI: references in game

I think that the only "hint" that Mr. New Vegas is an AI is the passionate eulogy that he gives mere moments after House bits the dust.

Original GTA Creator Remaking GTA1 in 3D

The layout of the cities changed and aiming with a thir person view is very different than shooting the old way, though. Shooting actually was terrible in GTA1, unless you had an automatic weapon it was obscenely hard to hit anything at a distance.

    Bioshock Infinite

I had seen this before. Overall good points, but one thing that sticks out to me as very wrong is where he complains that throwing baseball balls is a tame "torture" for the interracial couple. I guess he has never held a baseball ball in his hands because those things are hard. It would...

Original GTA Creator Remaking GTA1 in 3D

But the original was already 3D.

    Rate the DLC's

1- The Pitt and Point Lookout. Interesting places, nice atmosphere and good ideas that are almost well executed. 2- Broken Steel. Fixes a bit the old ending and the added quests aren't that bad. Quite stupidly, though, retroactively adds consequences to a quest in the vanilla game so you...

Whats the backstory of your New Vegas Courier?

Mine is a courier that in the past visited New Reno and did work for the community in the Divide.

Is House that great of a leader?

Which means nothing without actual numbers.

Would the fallout vault gear door design work ?

Where is it? I see only the drill thingy going into the door and then pulling it back.

    Bioshock Infinite

I agree, they would have made a lot more sense in the original version of the game, which took place in the beginning phase of the civil war on Columbia. But then they changed the story but had to keep that stuff anyway since was too tied with the gameplay. Kind of sad that one of the best...

Wait, what? Shouldn't be the opposite? Skyrim!? He's right. Back then the big games were actually good. God, this game has so much fail written all over it.

    Th4if no more.

Wouldn't be so sure of that. Capcom's Dragon's Dogma was one of their most expensive project ever, sold "only" 1.3 millions and yet it got a fullblown retail expansion that included the original game (Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen). Square Enix's FF13 is one of the most divisive VGs released in...

    Th4if no more.

It had a troubled development (4 years instead of the "usual" 2-2.5) so yeah, it's possible that despite the successful sales it didn't bring a lot of money. But even if that's the case that would be because of the troubled development, not because it didn't sell enough. A sequel wouldn't have a...

    It's not enough.

The one thing I disagree is the original reason for regenerating health, in that it was born IMO because the standard health-pack based mechanic didn't work very well with an FPS with only hitscan weapons.
