    Th4if no more.

Human Revolution began development in 2007, the industry has changed A LOT since then. Square Enix (which has been a mess of a company during this generation) bought Eidos when the game was already far in development, so I guess they couldn't/didn't influence it that much.

Why Fallout 3 is not as bad as most people on this forum think

What's that supposed to mean? I hope you are not trying to use an incredibly overused and tired fallacy... [spoiler:b7f18a40c6]Of course you are[/spoiler:b7f18a40c6]

Is 'holding your hand' part of gameplay now?

Games like that don't sell a lot and the unexpected success of DS itself doesn't prove anything anyway. Even if all the buyers of DS are "hardcore" players it's 2 millions out of a pool of ~140 millions players. Not that I think that a triple A game with ton of marketing would sell much less...

Is 'holding your hand' part of gameplay now?

Having to think what to do on their own is frustrating, for a lot of players

Is 'holding your hand' part of gameplay now?

I have the strong feeling that for a lot of people videogames are more about the "experience" rather than...well...the actual game. That's why games that ooze atmosphere but are lacking structurally can be quite successful/praised. Holding your hand of course hepls having a smoother "experience".

How old will you be on October 23, 2077?

A month and a half past 98. Totally doable. :)

Why Fallout 3 is not as bad as most people on this forum think

Hard to argue against that considering it's true. Two examples: -Jet was a post-war drug with a 100% addiction rate, now it's a pre-war recreational drug that doctors even use as a substitute for Med-X/morphine. -Looting pre-war stuff is one of the main parts of the Capital Wasteland...

How fallout 3 might actually be plausible.

Other examples? FO3 doesn't have traits.

    Fallout 1 = fake freedom/players' choice?

There are builds that are pretty much unplayable, not simply inefficient, though.

You know what's pretty silly about Fallout 3?

What about this beauty in NV then? Start the Lonesome Road DLC, reach the first vending machine (no enemies in that area, so it's completely safe), sell everything that is lying around in that area and BINGO. 24DT, medium armor, 500Hp, Guns +5/Agi +1/Per +1. On top of that the helmet is...

What do you think about the Pip-Boy 3000?

No inventory sorter of any kind. Bethesda make games where loot scavenging is a BIG part of the game and after all this time items are still listed only in alphabetical order. Completely idiotic.

    Doctor Who

I recently started watching the series, I'm enjoying it quite a lot...so far. I'm currently at the end of season 2 (so I have a lot of catching up to do :P), and...my god, the LINDA episode was terrible. >_> I hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Why The Master's Plan WOULD Work

    Or it's simply a retcon.

Does anyone remember ANY Fallout 3 characters?

That explanation pisses me off so much (nevermind the inherent stupidity that he left the UK therefore it was hit by the war). One of the big misteries of the FO universe is if the rest of the world survived the nuclear war, in which shape and if there has been any contact of any kind (via ether...

    Thoughts on FO3 vaults?

What I mean is that, save for unexpected failures (like the Water Chip malfunctioning), if the Vaulte dwellers found out that the caves collapsed when the vaults were supposed to open (200 years for V13 for example) they certainly would have resources to keep the place running for a few extra...

    Thoughts on FO3 vaults?

That's not really a problem inside a vault, now is it? It's not like they are in danger of running out of food, air or water.

    Thoughts on FO3 vaults?

On the other hand wouldn't the FO1-2 doors be unable to be opened if the caves that connect the vaults to the outside world collapsed? At least with the FO3 design they could open them and start digging...

What do you think about the Pip-Boy 3000?

Even if it's "simply" hard is an idiotic idea. I don't understand why Bethesda came up with it, really, it adds nothing. It does? Well, New Vegas retconned that it seems. Also if true Vaults like 101 should have had a mountain of Pip-Boys (instead of a thousand) since they would have to...

    Could Elijah escape?

My argument by this point is pretty clear and it's certainly not that. Been a long time since I saw The Goonies but I don't remember "don't try things that are out of your league" being a constant theme in the movie.
