What if the "quest" is really just a tiny portion of the game and they are actually using it to onboard folks to Fallout Online? Maybe that's why the whole gender/customization thing changes later on... I mean how much longer are they going to wait to go MMO with this series?

Yeah, not a Megadeth fan (though they have a few jams) - however, the thing that made them interesting for me was the melodies (on the instrumental side) and the structures of their songwriting. They aren't in my pantheon (for songwriters) but they weren't top 40's popsong formats either...

Format doesn't really matter to me, if the game is good. The Fallout universe has a great collection of elements that can be placed in a number of game types. Just have fun with it ya know? For hardline old-schoolers: what are you doing to cope with the fact that there are now going to be more...

This idea kinda dials in on the multi-character element from GTAV for me - could be cool to have a Fallout story unfold that way.

I dunno, which is cheaper: having writers and developers create lush options or having a single storyline that is VO? my guess is Main character VO is the savings, so unfortunately, could be a thing. Also, 10 years seems like a really long time spread in game between FO3 & FO4 but it doesn't...

Kinda seems like one is a human and one is a super mutant - gauging from how they walk and look on my screen. Also, the skyscrapers look to be a various states of repair with a similar material. Could be a decent vertical world in this game.

If it had been completely different but had a Fallout stamp on it, what would that look like? Would that have received a worse reaction from Old school FO players? Ignoring the blatant logic/lore errors - maybe BGS did the best they could given how the contract and timelines were setup back...

I think failure is a subjective take - realistically BGS had to enter this territory (amongst others, if they are going to keep rolling). One hit every couple years probably isn't going to keep the lights on. They need to experiment and see how to stretch there legs on unknown terrain - why not...

I shoulder-glanced it at a friends for a while. Can't tell you too much about the game except that it visually looked decent. My thoughts are that it is a pretty WoW. with a setting for BGS fans.
