Unknown Pleasures 2009: Age of Decadence

Uh, no? Darklands, Fallout 1 and 2, Arcanum, the entire Geneforge series, Prelude to Darkness, Planescape, Mask of the Betrayer, a number of Ultima games (starting with #4, I think; kids, try Ultima V Lazarus), Bloodlines, Gothic, Escape Velocity: Nova, Temple of Elemental Evil, Realms of...

Unknown Pleasures 2009: Age of Decadence

I'm 38 years old. I've played RPGs for more than 20 years. A flat-out lie. It did. All the way down the toilet. Epic plunge! And how dare you suggesting that Pokemon, an old school, hardcore RPG cult classic that practically reinvented the genre is not the greatest RPG evar? PS. Mass...

No, no rolls. You either have the required skill or you don't.

    Fallout 3 review

My entire argument? How's your reading comprehension? What makes you think that? And that's wrong because...? Btw, why are you claiming everywhere that I pirated the game? It's one thing to find a working computer - one out of dozens dead ones - in a well protected vault with an autonomous...

    NMA: Fallout 3 review

Game Informer, Sep 2004: "While only in preproduction stages at the moment, the game will use the same technology as Oblivion, and is planned as another open-ended roleplaying game. This game however, will be decidedly darker. Imagine a survival horror-esque version of the Fallout world, with...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #42

Will be handed to BN by the end of the week. Exclusive sneak peak! "Fallout 3 is the third installment in the award-winning series beloved by children and young adults. The game continues mature themes of exploring a huge world, looting everything that isn't nailed down, and leveling up...

NMA article: My Fallout 3 adventures!

Since I've gotten into an argument on the Codex, I'll just copy-paste what I posted there (in regard to FO3 not being a Fallout game): "FO3 takes place 200 years after the war, yet the world looks like it's been only a few decades since the war. Working computers are everywhere (i.e. not in...

No. I'll see him tonight. Yes. Rewriting dialogues and tweaking quests can improve the game greatly.

90%? But you said before that if I want to get that vault shirt I better give it 12/10 to beat all the other reviews? No, these are just my impressions. My review will reflect the overall quality of the game.

    Age of Decadence Roundup

Sorry to break it to you, but RPGs are about high end technology and performance. If you don't have top gear, what are you doing playing RPGs in the first place?

TGE requirements are Pentium III 1000, 512 MB RAM. I'd recommend 1GB of RAM though. The game runs fine with GeForce4 MX440 64MB. Edit: "Similar to" doesn't mean "based on". Just want to avoid misleading anyone.

I don't like trashing fellow indie developers, but damn... guys, can you do something first and, like, hype later? Only 3? Come on, don't be so modest. So, uh, even though some features are gone and the game is smaller in scope, it's exactly the same game, but it's also much better. Uh...

Age of Decadence Goodness is Back

It's a shareware game, Matt. You download it, play it for a bit, then decide if it's worthy of your money. The best way to treat customers, imo. If you get the game online, you'll need the internet twice: to download the game and to pay for it. Then it's all yours, forever and ever...
