Embarrasingly, I discovered before you posted that that is precisely correct. There are only a few merchants in the game that have a second stock that you access ONLY by clicking on the appropriate container, and I always forget about it. Gah.

I personally don't think that it's reasonable to expect EVERY shot to the head/eye area to be massive damage. Even if it WERE an FPS it's not easy to hit up there, and an FPS does not take into accout a grazing hit and near misses.

The types of bullets used in modern rifles need specialized tools to make. Unless you find or can make them, forget it. MAYBE Vault City, the BoS and NCR. No one else. And only the BoS should be near, at or past where military tech was before the bombs fell. Everyone else is still catching up.

I'm a little torn about NPCs in general. On the one hand, it would be nice if they were smarter. On the other, in an RPG having a party is rather out of place. Sulik would be fun to see at least a little of, though.

You can basically build (with enough money) everything in a fictional power armor with one exception: The power source. No battery can do it and a generator/engine would require too much fuel, and be too bulky. Miniaturized fusion power, where are you?
