Fallout 2 mod EcCo Gameplay Overhaul (new version for RPU)

I don't think "senisble" is the way to go with drug abuse. EN is only a dump stat because the benefits to having a lot are not very interactive. Having a high EN (I've tried) isn't weak, it's in fact very powerful, it's just boring. Neither it or stimpaks need buffs, tbh. Well, maybe in Jim's...

Why Fallout 3 is not as bad as most people on this forum think

^ This is good advice. Why make/participate in a thread about "Fallout 3 not being as bad as most people on this forum think" and then be frustrated when people who think it IS that bad show up? Without them there's noone bashing Fallout 3, with them you have to defend the game past the point of...

Why Fallout 3 is not as bad as most people on this forum think

My thought's exactly - this isn't 1997 anymore, son, it's 2014. So noone needs to buy up every media outlet as there's obviously self-justification seeking dorks with a decent internet connection out there that'll spam for free. Folks AAA guys have been pandering to for ages finally have a...

Why Fallout 3 is not as bad as most people on this forum think

No need to get paraniod. I've seen people like that before IRL, you don't have to pay them for forum activity. He's got quite a high motivation to be doing what he's doing - he want his tastes to be acknowledged as what he sees as legit, but doesn't seem to realize that people with his tastes...

A review of the RP game progression experience and small tweak suggestions

Well, some suggestions have caught some people's attention, but nothing confirmed. I've been playtesting the economy rebalance mod, and managed to find what was wrong with EPA (a ddraw option seems to cause problems with it if enabled), so I haven't actualy don't anything yet. But I will, no rush.

Why Fallout 3 is not as bad as most people on this forum think

^ The last one is so true, and the market generaly is so oversaturated with formulaic junk, that Yahtzee has made a career of actually saying what he thinks about games as if that's not a game reviewer's job but his "schtick" for being a media personality. -.-

Why Fallout 3 is not as bad as most people on this forum think

-.- Me liking or not liking it doesn't matter in that equation at all. You are talking about a game being a sucess, and I'm telling you that your parameters for success are rather suspicios, and that you may be seriously missatributing the cause for success of the games YOU like, while having...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Son, if you've ever been to a major protest, out on the street with tons of outraged people one of the things you notice first is that there's litteraly all sorts of people there. In any country. When the shit hits the fan - everybody on the bottom gets affected, so all sort of people hit the...

Why Fallout 3 is not as bad as most people on this forum think

I think it's highly unlikely that Fallout 3 would've been so much of a success without the name. There were 2 reasons I bought it - 1) I was genuinely curious what a Fallout game done in open-world 3d style would feel like (and I'd ask for a refund there, in that specific case) and 2) Oblivion...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Yeah, that's true. Tons of brainwashed Russian kids on any MobA forums, very strange notions about life, the universe and such. History has shown that it's easier to convince a nation on a downward spiral to go to war - it simplifies things and gives the lower classess a romantic notion of a...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Which one, Russian or Ukrainian? Because, yeah, EU and USA would like nothing better than see Russia bogged down in another pointless and resource draining war, and even move in later as "investors" which "help" rebuild Ukraine. And yeah, people forget Ukraine, except Ukraine can either take a...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Well, are we horrible for bieng cynical, or is the world hypocritical for loving to think Congo is on another planet? :D Because here in ex-yu everytime someone sayes something to the ammount of "yeah, that would make sense in Africa, but this is Europe", like that means something, someone else...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Yeah, true, I just ment "world goes back to (colonial) wars going on somewhere else".

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Yes, but capitalist is just another name for imperialist once you grow large enough, and that's where everyone was back before WWI. Didn't stop everything going to hell. And before that everyone was happy enough with colonial wars for a good while after Prussia and England kicked everyone elses...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Naaah, jury is still out on that. As long as it's just Crimea, nothing else was expected. Noone officially backed the Ukrainian revolution because they knew this would happen, but if it ends there, in a seccession of Krim (whether annexed or as a Kosovo-like protectorate), it's where it will end...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

No, no, no, I don't mean that the Russians never lost Crimea in a nationalist sense - but in the very real "we have you at gunpoint and you're only a sovereign state if you do exactly what we tell you and never get any other idea otherwise we burn you all to the ground" sense. They don't have...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Yeah, it's highly likely this is in fact the case. In a sense it's exactly the same as it was with Hitler, but up until Syria the big powers mostly did what they wanted anyway (both USA and Russia, and if China has been doing anything the world mostly doesn't know about it). USA occupied a large...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

I think you are right. It's just like with St. PEtersburg. Russia let the western part of the warshaw pact go entirely, but they kept their important port as an enclave. No real reason for this whole thing to play out any other way. Well, except that Crimea needs to have a decent land connection...

    Russian-Ukrainian war

Yes, this exactly - I'm refferring to the Russian military / political elite. This issue is viewed through romantic nationalis lens too much allready, when it's clearly a military, strategic and economic thing. I think noone will back Ukraine up because from the perspective of the russian...
