The weapon shouldn't have mattered that much. And I had a harder time with the Marked Men. Speaking of weapons... did anyone else find Red Glare pretty useless. I expected that thing to do some damage. I had it fully modded, emptied it into groups of Marked Men and it did nothing, absolutely...

So I'm not the only one that thought of Planescape Torment when I watched that scene. I could do without the mental image of Moffat wanking in his office though. Even though I've no doubt he was wanking when he wrote pretty much every episode he's done since taking over.

Finished LR yesterday. After skimming reviews and forum comments, my expectations were lowered. That actually let me enjoy it. Except for the final battle. ED-E handled the eyebots and Ulysses... wow. Went down way too easy. Three head shots from a modded LAER in VATS and then two body shots...

And once again, Moffat disappoints. Someone really needs to tell the man he's not as clever as he thinks he is. It's funny. When he was penning one piece a year under RTD I looked forward to him taking over the show. Now I wish the BBC would sack his sorry ass as show runner.

I have to agree with the OP on skills and AI. Doesn't matter what difficulty the game is set at, you can kill easily with only 25-50% in Guns. And when sniping, the enemy just runs back and forth, a few steps on way, a few steps back again. Didn't matter whether it was Fiends or death claws, the...

Exactly. Not hard to find at all. Years just makes no sense. Unless Ulysses has some personal grudge with the Courier which goes back long before the platinum chip delivery.

Years? Even with travel time to DLC areas an average play through is months at best from the time you're shot and saved by Doc Mitchell until you've done all there is to do and finish the game. Even saying one year is really stretching it. I'm really curious to know how the story comes up...

Guess you've only watched some of the weaker episodes of the revived series and not the original. In fact, one of the reasons the Doctor hangs around Earth so much is exactly the opposite of your gripe: That humans are resilient, resourceful, never quit, etc, etc. I'm not fond of the show...
