Fallout 3 Eastern European localizations announced

Re: Fallout 3 Russian localization announced Nice! At least the fans in that area won't have to wait forever for a localized language version. :)

    RPGVault Fallout 3 preview

As I understand it, things aren't as cut and dry as this. There seem to be options around these two choices that add a bit more depth as was explained by Desslock:

8/10 because Bender rocks. I've not got high expectations for mine, but meh...I haven't summoned the energy to create something...hmm...creative...yet. :P

    RPGVault Fallout 3 preview

Well if it requires Directx 10 then it requires Vista, as DX10 isn't available on any other platform. However, I recall interviews with "The Todd" saying he didn't want to make it Vista-only, so I'm guessing Directx 9 will be the limit.

    Fallout 3 interview on Eurogamer

I know...it just shows a difference in confidence in the game their making. I guess they feel they need that star power to boost their game's profile. Look at Rockstar games, who tends to have big named actors and voice actors in their GTA games, but never even releases that info until the...

lol...as if all movies since LoTR haven't burned out that word enough, now it's the go to word for gaming. :)

    Fallout 3 previews in Europe

Glad to see they're not giving Europe the cold shoulder, as so many other American game companies do. Still...I imagine these previews won't be offering any new info from what we've already seen/read/heard.

    Save Auto Assault campaign

Well if you've got any coding-minded players in your community, it may be possible to reverse engineer the game code so you can create private servers to play on. As long as you haven't stolen the code and aren't charging for the service, I think the lawyers will leave you alone since the...

    Fallout 3 interview on Eurogamer

This I wholeheartedly agree with. I find myself skipping the voice acting anyway, to progress to the next lines of text in most games. The only time I really listen to it is in cut-scenes or things of that nature, or if it's very, very well done (ie Dragonquest VIII).

How to identify which version the Fallout CD is?

Cool stuff Grotesque. I love looking at cover art across regions....must appeal to the graphic designer in me or something.

Well so far I'm the only person from The Caribbean. :P I hope I'm not the only islander who's a Fallout fan!

PC Gamer podcasts covers Fallout 3

Now there's a game I would love to play. Shame Beth didn't think of that, as we'd probably all be a bit more accepting of this game as a prequel spinoff as opposed to the direct sequel they're making it out to be. Well, reports are that the 3rd person camera is miles better than Oblivion, so...

    This is kinda cute...

So let me get this straight....because I like the cake, and like the extreme violence that the Bloody Mess trait offers, that makes me a "Bethesda boy"? Please...grow up. We have enough trolling here without your self-righteous bullshit comments.

    GGL previews Fallout 3

Found this on the new Bethsoft Newsletter....another view at the power armor. At least the head and shoulders. :P

    Save Auto Assault campaign

This is probably the most realistic option for players. And with the company ending service, it's a lot less likely to cause any legal problems as well. The way most World of Warcraft communities survive (with a few hundred players) is via donations to keep it running. The only thing is it has...

    Fallout 3 on XBox live

This kinda got me too....I'm guessing it was just because it was concept art by someone who probably didn't know much about Fallout. Especially since Power Armor was developed as pretty much a walking tank.

Starcraft and Warcraft and 1337-speak, oh my

Amen to that. I hated Battle.net, but nothing was better in high school than me and 3 of my friends in one room with computers all networked up and playing SC for hours. :)

Starcraft and Warcraft and 1337-speak, oh my

Being a big RPG fan, I loved the Hero idea, but the implementation could have been better. The only downside is it really reduced the size of your armies and such, and made it less about the mass slaughter and focused a bit too heavily on those few hero units. Still, I thought WCIII was a great...
