    Fallout 3 Compendium - Release 12 - Beta v0.6.0.2

Well medic is going to have to wait. Right now I'm tackling advanced thermodynamics and figuring out how to simmer all this down into something the script language can comprehend. I've figured out the majority of the formulas for [linear] heat transfer, buuut still need to fix a minor problem...

    Questionnaire for F3C's Weapon Features

A brand new, just manufactured & serviced one, yes. Finding a firearm in that kind of condition is going to be astronomically rare. Chances are, every single firearm you -would- find would have been tampered (inappropriately repaired) or modified in some way.

anyone managed to change the anim for the ripper?

attack animations are hardcoded you'd have to use DLL injection (a memory hack) in order to get other animations.

    [REL] Advanced Power Armor

Conflicts with the pipboy light though, which is hardcoded. A fose script might be able to deactivate it though.

    [REL] Advanced Power Armor

Global? No. An equip-based script or effect-based script could do that though.

    [REL] Advanced Power Armor

It should. Though, NPCs render their stats very differently than the player character does. At least I've noticed that from armor penetration tests.

    Fallout 3 Compendium - Release 12 - Beta v0.6.0.2

Actually, there are plans for a post-war 9mm SMG based on this weapon: http://www.picaroni.com/vladas_m1992.jpg Also, (the .32 is the worst round in the game. Mirelurks have 220 hp.) And, (First target was shot once in the torso, from far away, and allowed to bleed to death. He...

    [REL] Advanced Power Armor

Actually they're not really shoulder pads, they're armor plating that protects internal components of the exo skeleton. At least, that's how I see it.

Armor Decay: (Even though the armor is ruined near the end, it still provides semi-reasonable protection in the ruined state)

    Fallout 3 Compendium - Release 12 - Beta v0.6.0.2

No, unfortunately. The dmg system exists as an independent "critical effect" script for each type of ammo, and one for each melee weapon. In the case of energy weapons and explosions, there's one for each weapon rather than the ammo. So a 10mm JHP pistol will have the same dmg script as a...

    Fallout 3 Compendium - Release 12 - Beta v0.6.0.2

That's DLC, which is something I cannot touch (or release in whole or part) because of legal reasons.

    Fallout 3 Compendium - Release 12 - Beta v0.6.0.2

Update: Preliminary testing of the damage engine in-game has met great success, though this was not without some bumps and dead ends during testing. Results are *very* satisfying, and within 95% of measurements taken from wound channels formed in ballistics gelatin at firing tests.

    Game Crashes !

Yes, but if using the same game file after removing the plugins will *definately* make it crash.

    Game Crashes !

As a rule of thumb, TES engine games (Fallout 3, Oblivion, Morrowind, Daggerfall) have remarkable instability when more than a handful of plugins are used at the same time. *Great* care must be taken to make certain that the plugins being used do not conflict with each other in -any- way.

    Damage Threshold

Because the system in F1/2 emulate the physics that the F3C system is actually doing, *yes*. Here, I will satiate your appetite with some formulas. (These are not the actual script code, but trunciated equations) ______ t = Armor thickness ______ d = Projectile diameter ______ m =...

    Damage Threshold

Fallout 1 & Fallout 2's damage engine was flawed. Armor penetration was never finished correctly, and there are a few mods which attempt to fix it. It has to do with the equations being inaccurate. TESIV (Oblivion & Fallout 3) does not support thresholds, and never will. Since you appear...
