Fallout 3 E3 Site found - including new video material

Haha, I guess you were right. They just announced the site on the blog, no content, just the intro. Apparently they have a lot of great content lined up though...

    Fallout 3 Full E3 Trailer

Regarding shadows, it's still like in the screenshots: characters have shadows, objects don't. I don't mind the monster, it reminds me of the centaurs and floaters. I haven't the foggiest idea where it came from though. Surely it can't be remnants of the master's army, right? Right...

    Fallout 3 first footage

Well, nothing unexpected there. Looks like another FPS, and not a very good one. Can't say I'm disappointed though, I was expecting the combat to suck. VATS animations didn't look very impressive. I imagine they'll get annoying real fast. I hope we see some non-combat footage soon. And better...

Fallout 3 E3 Site found - including new video material

It's just an intro for the website, not a trailer. The reason Bethesda hasn't announced the site yet is because it has no content, so it's pretty pointless to complain about it showing nothing new when you weren't even supposed to know about the site yet. I'm guessing this site will be the place...

    New Fallout 3 Teaser Trailer

This is just build-up for E3, it's obvious they won't show gameplay at this point. Gametrailers is showing short pre-E3 teasers for all the big games that will be there, we'll see gameplay on Monday.

    New Fallout 3 Teaser Trailer

A simple change in the panning speed would have made this much more effective, it's just looks a tad unnatural as it is now. Other than that, I think it looks good, environments are nice, ads are alright. I suppose it does the job, as it's goal is to tease and get people hyped for E3.

Fallout 3 E3 demo on Spike TV

Reminds me of the Fallout intro with the TV and ruined building. In fact, it's pretty much exactly the same concept, except for the vault dweller at the end. The environments look very nice as always.

    Bethesda's Fan Interview #2

Again, some positive bits, some negative. I don't really care about the weather and the other things that don't affect gameplay. Dialog sounds good, the new AI stuff also good (but we all know what happened the last time Beth talked about AI) and the faction things are nice. I don't mind the...

Emil speaks on Fallout 3 combat, armor and more.

Character skill affecting weapon damage kind of makes sense for melee/unarmed. An unexperienced/untrained person would probably make more superficial wounds, although they'd probably miss quite a bit too in a fight. Would be best if skill affected both damage and accuracy, but I imagine that...

    Gameplayer Australia previews Fallout 3

The copy-paste nature of the fallout week articles was explained in the comments of episode 2 by Chris Stead, the author of all the Gameplayer Fallout articles thus far: The NPC interaction bit worries me. I guess I can live with bad animation if the dialog itself is good, but it does make...

    Gameplanet.co.nz previews Fallout 3

I think he's saying that you can tell dogmeat to attack an enemy at range, as opposed to walking up to the enemy and pressing the use key or something. Which doesn't really make sense, but since you apparently can't give Dogmeat orders from a distance, I guess it's worth pointing out. Oh yeah...
