I was going to demand live draft so I'm glad we're going for it. I really didn't like my line-up last year and feel like the autodraft killed my enthusiasm. Worst case, we can make it a time that's mildly awkward for everyone but not terrible. And I'm for Team DEF too. I just don't know...

Well it'll be interesting to see what the Vikings do if he doesn't play. But to be fair, I'm sure he's waiting for the situation to get dire and then ride in on his white horse to save the day.

Started reading the Deptford Trilogy by Robertson Davies. I'd read Fifth Business before and loved it. Hadn't realized it was a trilogy til I saw the book. It's a great book. Not a lot happens but it is mesmerizing.

Your comments on magic the gathering are similar to why I stopped playing. People's lack of originality mixed in with dumping far too much money into it killed the excitement. I want a game of skill, not who's willing to dig the deepest into their wallet.

dang Astiaks, I wish you'd said that sooner. I'd been debating the Overlord pack but decided against it fearing it woudl be a tacky console port. Resident Evil 5 is 12$... did they actually do an okay job with this one unlike RE4? I'm tempted if so. Glad to see Reconite on the same...

I saw Robin Hood last night. Watching it, it honestly reminded me of Fallout 3. Using a franchise when there was no need for it. The only semblance to the originals was the use of town names and character names. The story had no elements of the original Robin Hood, with the last 5 minutes...
