I think it really is a combination of a shitty engine to start with combined with poor programming when you consider how floaty fallout 3 felt even after people hated how floaty oblivion felt

I really like the idea of the NCR troops using armor scavenged from places as far as LA, its a really subtle way to show how long their reach is. still, that doesnt sound much like combat armor.

companions remaining as actual characters after you recruit them is a pretty big step up for fallout 3 :)

I think the pc gamer podcast even says that one of the reasons new vegas is going to have weapons mods is because the fallout 3 weapon modding mod was really sucessful.

I can understand that people come in posting stupid things but its really the way that people smugly shit all over this imagined fallout 3 fan when no one has actually posted in the thread. both extremes are just as bad.

what I would really like to see would be a mod that adds your slaves as weak followers that cant be healed so I can escort them to paradise falls without having to sprint after them and hope the nearest yao guai eats them

strawmannnnn you first played fallout 1 and 2 when you were significantly younger then you are now people asscociate the past with better times unless some really really bad stuff happened you are nostalgic, face it.

besides, fallout is based on bad 50s pulp novels instead of reality so a combination of all asian culture into some sort of super-stereotype actually fits

its the same modified FEV that the enclave was planning to use in fallout 2, as in it killed mutants but the radiation has slightly messed around with people's genes to the point that the virus would kill every living thing in the wastes
