Wasteland 2 new screenshots out of Gamescom

Van Buren was never released. I am pretty sure InXile could whip up better graphics (just to beat Van Buren) but the chance of ever seeing it in stores would be minimal. One of the first things discussed on the WL2 forums was also that "graphics was secondary" to story/design.

    Mad Max "Gameplay" Trailer

That's a well made trailer! Had it been for the next movie I would watch it. Still wonder what they will offer in forms of fun gameplay. GTA with scavenging instead of theft?

FOnline 2238 - "The end is nigh" and Mod Database

Incredible that it was running for this long! A big congratulations is in place. I played this game a long time ago and was blown away by how brutally honest it was. I tried and died but kept on going. Well done all of you. I wish the entire team all the best!

    EDGE reminisces on Fallout

I can happily report that he was exhilarated to be featured on NMA's frontpage once again :D I still kind of believe that there is a bunch of good intentions in there somewhere.

    Fallout/post-apoc tidbits round-up

I don't think a plain adaption of PnP would work that well tbh, but there is certainly a space/crowd that has not been covered/satisfied by today's digital RPGs. You want to play as a group with all the freedom that comes from using your imagination, yet play it in front of a screen. The one who...

    body art, fallout style

Why are you so obsessed with getting a fallout tattoo (or any tattoo for that matter) that covers so much of your body? You mentioned being alone and chubby. May I suggest that instead of getting an expensive tattoo you start working out as planned and meet some new exciting people. If you...

    Wasteland 2 new concept art

Yes mini nukes! (This post was not really about pointing out that mini nukes seem to have existed because that's irrelevant, but more about having a post that said "Yes mini nukes!") Also, love the art!

Neat indie post-apoc RPG After Reset announced

Then it does indeed sound premature to do a Kickstarter.

Neat indie post-apoc RPG After Reset announced

The guy knows 3d modelling and programming to some extent and by the looks of it he should be able to produce a working proof of concept on his own. However it seems he is aiming at providing his old projects as a "guarantee" (that it can be done) in a potential future Kickstarter. I'd...

    Hotline Miami

I really liked this game. One of those games I kept thinking about while not playing. Brilliant fast paced puzzle although some masks are way too overpowered and useful in most levels (would have been better if you had to switch, but hey, that's a pretty minor remark for a game like this!)...

    Wasteland 2 new screenshot surfaces

Just thought it might be worth noting that on Facebook inXile wrote: I think we might get to see it in action soon: It's "early next year" now!

    Wasteland 2 Ask a Dev Answers #2

Thanks Tagaziel, and yes, that's probably what I was thinking of. Haven't really given Fallout 3 (and onwards) a fair play-through yet so can't say for sure if it's working well or not there though. In Fallout 3 I became a "cutscene" (stuff moving! woho!) addict caring very little for my...

    Wasteland 2 Ask a Dev Answers #2

One could argue that theft added to the setting in Fallout, making the player more aware of the lack of resources. Every man for himself type of thing. In Wasteland you're a group, so naturally you'll beat or talk your way to the lunch money. ;)
