Those choirs were a "bit" Oblivion-esque.

Guardian Fallout 3 interview, the follow-up

Actually, I'm kind of relieved that they didn't do miss animations. Knowing Beth, they would have applied some stupid Matrix-styled "near-miss"-animation in VATS. That would have been just retarded.

    Fallout 3 rated in Australia

    Fallout 3 bits and pieces

I dislike the feature to save anywhere. Especially on PC, where you can have hotkeys for quicksave and -load, and so on. That easily leads to "kill enemy -save- kill enemy -save"-syndrome. In Fallout, that was thing that easily ruined the whole Steal thing. Its hard to not press quickload...

    Bit-tech interviews Pete

Im sure that most fans agree that TB and ISO didn't make Fallout Fallout. It was the world and overall atmosphere, dialog and consequences of what you did. And yes, we have not played it yet, but those things are something that Beth generally sucks with.

    Fallout 3 bits and pieces

Good example of "games must be easyyy": When Xbox360-game Dead Rising (zombie hacknslash, very funny & original game) was released, it gathered good reviews. But almost every reviewer complained about one bit in game, saving system that is not in fashion today. It had only single save and you...

    Fallout 3 bits and pieces

Thanks again. I like the fact that the "dungeons" (i cant imagine I'm talking about fallout-game....) will spawn eventually spawn more enemies. I mean, it feels kinda stupid if elementary school etc. hideout would stay empty forever, but it also feels very frustrating if they fill instantly...

    IGN UK previews Fallout 3

You know whats funniest? They played the game like what, 30 minutes? Thats funny; I was excited in GTA4 about 30-60 minutes and then got more or less bored.

AtomicGamer and IncGamers interview Pete Hines

Well, maybe its 48 minutes then :D By "real story" I meant that the story was not like: "eat mushrooms -> get powahh!11". MGS has the plot, MG had a plot. Thats what I meant.

AtomicGamer and IncGamers interview Pete Hines

Well, it depends. In early 90's most action etc. games had story like "rescue the princess/girlfriend" or "kill the aliens". But in contrast, there were rpgs that had really deep story lines. It has been said that Metal Gear was the first action game that tried to have some kind of deeper plot...

Crispy Gamer and VideoGamer play Fallout 3

In history, there have been lots of examples of activity like this. Well, it's not comparable to post-apoc world, but anyway. For example, _back in the U.S.S.R_ and East Germany they had piracy radio stations, which played pop music of west and in the 60' there was lot of record smuggling. Or...

Crispy Gamer and VideoGamer play Fallout 3

It was actually even in the MGS1. About the music: I myself love Mark Morgans eerie background music of previous Fallouts. But I have listened to the music examples of Fallout 3 homepage and I liked them. Song that plays in Megaton could be composed by Morgan. Musically I love the main...

    Strategy Informer interviews Pete Hines

So what does INT do in Fallout 3? Does it just boost you with more skill points and science? I thought that they said it affects dialog also.

    Strategy Informer interviews Pete Hines

I myself have a Xbox 360 and I must say that the achievements IMO are great. It is little thing, but it puts a lot of replay value and fun to game.

Nailed. I'm wondering if there are any area like Vault City. You know, it would be a great contrast (like it was in Fallout 2) to see some green for chance.

I like that ruined village (or whatever it is). Gotta love the roundabout and ruined kids tricycle.

Gamespot UK plays Fallout 3 (again)

I'm wondering if anyone from Bethesda is reading this thread. I mean, look how much hatred, what they considered as "funny pun" (Fire ants), has emerged.

Gamespot UK plays Fallout 3 (again)

Yes, this is true. But in previous games there were many people, who used curse words often. I mean, this was just one kid. Plus it's fairly usual that kids who live in harsh world usually use harsh language. About how the unkillable NPC-problem has done: At least with kids, if you shoot...
