    Conservatives, libertarians and political identiifcation

The only two exceptions, for me personally, are rape (although it should be made clear to all that the fetus is not the rapist) and the high probability of a stillbirth or maternal death. Suffice to say, abortion is a subject that needs, and deserves, cool tempers in its given discourse.

    Conservatives, libertarians and political identiifcation

I have little to no aqcuaintance with American politics, but even then, this thread is becoming increasingly silly. From what I've been able to decipher (Google Translate can now convert Forum Angst into English), all that's being argued here is whether Christina Sommers has a Republican or...

    Fallout Haiku

Line 1. Sulik wears Grampy Bone through his nose. Line 2. Cocaine is a hell of a drug. Line 3. He gets high and thinks that Grampy Bone's talking to him.

Sounds like some people take these ratings very seriously. @alec's moving avatar is quite hypnotic, needless to say. I suddenly feel the urge to don an Argyle sweater, too. 9/10.

    Fallout Haiku

Here's one about Sulik, then. He wears ancient bones, And in breathing sacred roots, Grants them faint whispers. If anyone wants to keep this thread going, I'm happy to provide the next topic. How about Hakunin?

    Conservatives, libertarians and political identiifcation

That's pretty much how parliament works, isn't it? You've got a bunch of people on two opposing sides who scream at each other for an hour, blame the previous government for everything that's wrong with the country, and then go home. What was the original topic of this thread, again?

I don't personally listen to this genre of music on a regular basis, but I'll give it a 7/10. The lyrics are quite catchy.

    Fav weapon...why?

Across all of the Fallout games I've played, I've always liked the hunting rifle over most ofter weapons. I've never really liked that fact that, if you progress in the games long enough, you can eventually get your hands on equipment that practically renders you an immortal capable of cleaving...

Have you moved on from Fallout?

I've definitely moved on from the Fallout series. I tried rekindling my interest in it the other day, but lost interest after five minutes of playing Fallout 2 again. I wish I could say the same about Arcanum, though. I'm still addicted to that game.

    OkCupid and Other Dating Sites

I'm a male on a dating site looking for other males, hence my use of "guys". What, by the power of Grayskull, made you think that I was a transvestite?

    OkCupid and Other Dating Sites

Needless to say, this thread's taken an interesting turn since its original post. I do browse occasionally on dating sites like OkCupid and Oasis Active, but my studies at the moment have kept me from seriously dating other people. When it comes to online dating, you'll always get a mixed bag...

That was fantastic! 9/10. I'd recommend you look up the soundtrack for Gemini Rue, if you're interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLSkrcc18QY

Anyone else tired of the old factions?

I'd love to play as a missionary from New Canaan. Imagine the role playing experience and the character development; starting out as an idealistic young preacher, and then being exposed to and shaped by the darker side of the wasteland and its inhabitants. Or perhaps even a Reaver who survived a...

The Ultimate Movie Thread of Ultimate Destiny

It might be a stretch, but if you've a penchant for darker, more thematic films, you might like The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928). It's a silent black and white film that you can watch on YouTube, with subtitles. Sometimes, it's played with musical narration by an obscure orchestra or band...

A very sinister looking Muppet. Or maybe a Christmas pudding with a score to settle. 8/10.

Favorite books / What are you reading?

I read 1984 a long time ago (and enjoyed it immensely), but I've always preferred Animal Farm. As for Metropolis, I've yet to watch the movie, much as I'd like to. I'm sure I could get it at any video rental place, I suppose. Back on the subject of The Fountainhead, there's a copy of the film...

Favorite books / What are you reading?

I read that book in a day; I couldn't put it down! It sent chills down my spine, though, that's for sure. What's it like? Worth reading? Ayn Rand doesn't have the best reputation as a writer, so I've been told. At the moment, I'm reading a book called The Sparrow (1996) by Maria Doria...
